You dont have to worry about limiting things, and the map is only slightly tweaked iirc.
Yes the rev limit is raised, but if you are worried about anything just dont rev that far :)
Its more than a few feet. Mines about 3.5 metres at its longest setting.
But id much rather have someone with me to walk beside the camera, just in case!
But yes, it is terrifyingly scary!
^^ Yep thats because of the 'turning focal plane' . Its impossible to pan a car that isnt perpendicular to you, and for it to all be sharp. Different parts of the car are traveling at different relative speeds, so you cant get it all in focus :)
We deal with these at work. From my understanding, they are a USB drive that enables the relevant software to work. ie. its the licence in effect I think.
Ive never been pursuaded to buy any of this....would it be much better than car shampoo and water lol?
I clean it that way and apply wheel guard, cant see why I would need anymore tbh
The 98ron map should still be fine even with 95ron fuel. Apparently there's a safe guard in the map to compensate for lower octane fuel, or so Ive read!
I have a tiny amount of 95ron fuel in my car before I mapped it (as I couldnt get 98! :(), and it ran fine :)
Did mine on the weekend. VERY easy to do, 40mins and job done.
Yes you can backup the original map, and I would advise you do this :)
I put the 98ron map on and its fine so far :)
I doubt you'll see many 'bodykitted' clios on here :)
And there's a reason why the 'safe' mods are popular, because they look good!
Of course all of what I say is my personal opinion!
AND.....if you look, you'll find most peoples cars are modded in some ways, so saying 'everyone likes their standard look' doesnt really work on this forum.
Ive bought my D200, 24-70mm, 18-200mm, 100-300mm, 12-24mm and my SB800 from ebay HK shops.
No fuss, each one was an easy and safe process. Pretty fast delivery considering....and its a hell of a lot cheaper too!!
The only thing that will help with panning (assuming you have the camera set up for it) is PRACTICE. Thats the only way you will start to get better results at lower speeds.
I remember when I started out I couldnt go below 150th(ish). Now im pretty consistent at 1/60th, but anything below that...
If it's actually around the subject, then its probably some sort of vignetting effect. Grad filter effects can be easily replicated in PS too, I know because I use them sometimes ;)
surprised you have Dejan on that list! Hes a VERY good amateur photographer, Ive seen a lot of his work, and chat to him quite a bit on another forum.
Heres a few select from my favs list!:
