I'm liking that idea :D i've been reading some threads about the cost of new PAS lines from Renault, kerching. I'm fitting a new cambelt this weekend while the engine is out, hopefully the Cup alternator parts will be with me by next Wednesday so i can get that on as well :)

Sorted, found a complete cup setup but apparently the PAS pipe is different between the cup and 172. Can anyone tell me which 1 I need please

My bonnet arm is also riveted to the underside of my K Tec carbon bonnet. It also has the threaded holes cast into the bonnet so it can be used on the original hinges and the bonnet catch from the original bonnet fitted

Aah right, i'll make some calls tomorrow then. Alternator new from Renault is £99 plus VAT but i should get 15% discount on that Thanks again :cool:

The engine is out of my phase 1 Clio 172 and i'm looking into losing the AC pump and fitting genuine Renault Cup parts. The question i have is that the Cup model is the phase 2 and uses the CB1 engine, the phase 1 engine i have uses the C0 engine. Does this make a difference? Does the phase 1...

Thanks for the positive comments peeps, i've been out working on it most evenings after work and try and get a day on it on the weekends Put the carbon bonnet on it earlier but undecided, the girlfriend also re-colured the stitching on the Cobra bucket seats to match the rollcage...

After a 12 hour stint on the white Clio on the good Friday, the white Clio 172 finally came off the 4 axle stands and is now sitting on all 4 of its wheels. Jobs done: Hub assemblies with discs Calipers and braided hoses FK front coilovers Polyflex uprated inner and outer ARB bushes fitted...

Personally from my time in this club a few people will go with the B14 when people ask for recommendations. The way I see the FK coilover kit is it fits nicely in the price range between your K Tec, Weitec at say £300-500 area and your £800 plus B14, AST etc. The dampers on the FK kit are made...

Yeah they're being fitted to my ph1 172, i paid £654 inc delivery. Venom have bumped their price for these up to £767

Super chuffed to come home to these earlier. After Venom bumping up their prices by £200 and telling me to wait 2-3 weeks i ordered these from europerformance last Wednesday, 5 days not including the weekend direct from Germany. Can't wait to fit them on the white project Clio 172 this weekend...
