Re: ***How much is my car worth?***
Hi guys,
price please:)
52 plate registered 2003 - 1.4 16v 3dr Dynamique in black No A/C- Currently on 65k miles.
Just passed MOT last week with no advisories, and it also has 2 new front continental pro 5 tyres, new spark plugs, new oil & oil filter...
I'd recommend posting in the correct section mate, this is normally just a welcome thread.

Hey Guys,
went to get tracking done on my car today, clio 1.4, but there is play in my steering. They advised replacing the track rod ends and tie rods, is this an easy job to do yourself? and is there anything else worth doing while its all off as well?
Thanks,
Dan
Considering he says Immaculate in the description I was expecting that. He said he was going to get it looked at by Ktec when I said people might be a bit wary of the aux belt not being touched and the Cambelt not being done at a specialists. Was asking a bit high I think for what it actually...
I went and saw this car and know quite a bit about it if you haven't gone to see it yet. Cambelt was done 4 years ago in December 09. Aux belt or dephaser don't have any receipts, needs a new exhaust as it rattles at low revs(broken baffles). The xenons headlight washers don't work, one bonnet...
Baring in mind they are just stamps in the service book, and if the cambelt was done at a specialist I think It's a fair price! It has no tax and needs mot and service, so how shall I haggle him down a bit?
Hey guys,
2003 reg,
78k miles,
cambelt done at 60k (going to find out whether it was done at a specialist and how many years ago).
Full stamped service history (I don't think he has receipts)
This is his third 172 (he loves them apparently, but bought a renault megane coupe as he has a...
Hey guys,
How much is this worth?
1.4 16v Black Dynamique Clio.
57K miles on the clock.
Only 1 previous owner.
Sevice history.
Clean interior (bolster on drivers side a little rubbed)
Tidy Exterior, a few scuffs around the door handles but no scratches.
Tidy alloys, not perfect.
Drives well...
Would you say budget it in anyway even if its not due for another 3 years lets say? How much is servicing? Are there certain things you need to do?
Insurance I have taken into account, it's mainly little niggly bits that cost you, are there many? How do I buy smart, good servicing history etc...
I'm thinking of getting a 172, a 70-80k mileage with belts done, what are the running costs? Servicing costs etc, I know the Cambelt is 450 ish. What else is there to take into consideration when buying one of these cars?
Im trying to work out whether ill be able to afford it :)
Thanks guys!
Dan
Care to elaborate?
Yeah, I will get the skoda one, and I suppose it keeps up the option to get coilovers If I wanted too. I doubt I'll even notice the difference at all.
Thank you, that makes a lot of sense! It has the wheels already painted anthracite so thats not a problem, will just keep an eye out for a cup spoiler/trophy spoiler and splitter, then its basically sorted :D
I'm not worried about coilovers at the moment but maybe in the future, the wheels are already refurbed anthracite (in perfect condition), so I'd only need cup spoiler and splitter to make it look cup-packed. Its a very clean in and out car with low mileage which make it appealing to me. Hmm...
I'm thinking more about resale, many people go on about not buying clios without cup packs anymore. Is the suspension cup pack upgrade feasible to do yourself?
Haven't seen yours about mrc300, the one I see mainly is the BG 182. I'm interested in getting a 182 but want to be taken out in one first before I decide :D
Hey guys,
Recently started working at Millbrook proving grounds and seen a few RS clios in the car park with cliosport stickers! Reveal yourselves! I work in the VEC.
