I guess there's no downside for him. Lose and he's in the same situation he started in (ie at fault with insurance taking the hit). Win and he's laughing. The utter c**t.
The economy on these has surprised me. Thought it would a fair bit higher, seems they're no more economical than my Octavia, which is heavier, more powerful, and manual.
I've driven 4 in total. The only one that was even slightly enjoyable had a fast road alignment setup done. But even then the steering had feels like Hannibal Lecter, not enough torque. It's a car (imo) for those that are either infatuated with the engineering (understandable), or those that...
I think you're reading the diagram incorrectly. From what you've posted, yours is compatible. Seems to be the translation which is making you think otherwise. You may need to swap 2 pins on the right hand block.
Don't get a dension. I ordered directly from them, useless product and a useless...
Drive an s2000 before even thinking of buying. Marmite cars.
Some find them brilliant. Love v tec etc.
I find them dire. Up there with the most disappointing cars I've ever driven. You can replicate the steering and chassis feel by sitting on your sofa, steering with a plate making "vroom"...
I loved the box. Took some mastering, but once done it's brilliant. Helps changing the throttle map, kept sport oe but made normal more aggressive. With standard settings normal is too sluggish, sport too aggressive for normal roads /traffic.
But I'd pick a crap manual over paddles. It's a...
Oooh someone has said something slightly derogatory on the Internets about Apple.
QUICK, must go online immediately and defend Apple, whilst simultaneously commenting about how such comments are trivial and unnecessary, in a trivial and unnecessary way!
We've made this beautiful, slim, light phone.....
(but to actually use the thing on a regular basis without it dying you need this horrid case which doubles the thickness, makes it larger in every dimension and ugly)
Until you get to the special cars (Aston Martin, etc) I've not driven anything that felt so perfectly balanced as a road car. Just the right amount of grip, power, size.
It's always seemed a silly idea to me. Sink 4-5k into a 10-15yr old Clio. Really?
I wouldn't sink that much cash modifying a £10k m3, let alone a shitbox Clio.
(no offense intended, I've had 7 of said shitboxes)
Had the Octavia remapped by shark. Absolutely superb. Feels quicker than my mapped r26 did.
Does the golf have a small fuel tank? I'm getting 34ish mpg, 380 to a tank.
Its the difference in thinking between buying a normal (sub 10k outright) and financing a much pricier car.
In the context of the outright price, I'd say 600 pcm is cheap. Everyone got batshit excited about renting a Fiesta for 200ish a month. In that context, the m5 is cheap.
Every time I see one, I miss mine a little. But I don't miss the potential bills doing 100+miles a day in it.
I'll have another one day, for weekend use only. Late cs, manual, uprated brakes, standard everything else.
