@Haydn M Yep they are standard OZ F1's in 15" in a wheel silver. They will be getting refurbed next year (few scuff marks and I want them mint) and i'll go a bright silver again.
Car is lowered on BC coilovers and has spacers so maybe that's why it gives the illusion the wheels may look bigger...
172 cup ones will fit 172's. 182 cup ones will fit 182's at the front. You can't put a 172 cup on a 182 and vice versa. This is due to the bolt spacing which is:
- 54mm for 172, 172 cups and 182 non cup/non full fat.
- 60mm bolt spacing is on the 182 full fat and trophy's.
All rear shocks...
No worries mate.
I did see the karting thing but I've got a few expensive things to pay for coming up so that'll be off the list. I'm quite active and go to many meets so when there's one on downn your way I'll pop down and show my face.
I lose track of what cars you've got. Or had. Or are looking at.
Turbo saxo, Subaru, silver 182, evo, estate, pug 106 white, pug 106 black, etc.
Although this is the best colour for 182's. Plans? (Apart from sell it in 3 weeks)
Saxo - big wheels, great paint, wide arches, big twin exhaust, etc.
Clio V6 - big wheels, great paint, wide arches, big twin exhaust, etc.
I see a theme.... Lol
You need to jack the engine up from the sump. Put some wood under a jack and raise it a tad then you'll be able to remove it.
Forget that, I thought I read cam belt cover.
They are a stud that winds into the inlet then guard on, then 2x nuts
Looks like you can remove your studs with a spanner and replace with new ones too.
"A clio" is my response. I never mention its a sport, etc. Even when booking into a garage.
At least when your turn up in a modified one they get the impression you know a little bit about cars and cant mug you off as much. Thats what i like to think anyway.
Looks great!
Good car to own, that one! ;) Arran did a great job of freshening up the car and I'm glad to see it still being looked after.
2 things:
- Where did you get the top mount covers from?
- Need to relacquer the carbon splitter ;)
I run BC coilovers on my Ph1 and have had them on for over a year. Mines a daily and I don't think there hard at all.
My springs are set quite low/long on the coils though. Damping settings vary from what I fancy. I presume your set your springs quite high/short for track?
