Worth getting them from fred as they come pre filed correctly and are the better pads.
I got my first set from another trader and had them fitted by them too, they left the shims in and didn't file the edges so they squealed constantly. My fred spec pads I fitted Tuesday are brilliant, no...
I'd also like to know that, although I'm not too fussed until the other players are added.
It was a bit of a joke the having to have sky BB thing, especially because our old sky ADSL connection was too slow to run sky player. And they dont (yet) supply FTTC which we now have to have to get a...
If I still had mine I'd of lent you them
What about getting yours done at the wheel specialist in Leeds? Do a cracking job and same day drive in drive out is available iirc. Expensive but if they are paying who cares?
Re: Harphamominom's Ph1 Project
The sunflower needs a PH2 dash (I know I said no PH2 bits :o)
The PH1 dash is s**t, like proper bad, as bad as it gets, the PH2 dash is much nicer and more modern. Do it.
Mine went missing about 12 years ago, had been staying at my grandmas, came home to find i'd left it there. Never to be seen again, my grandparents insist they didn't see or move it :(
I swear its in their attic, as they would of packed my bed away when I left. Would love it back too :(

I've tried a couple of other cars and the 182 suits my use so well. I dont need faster/bigger/comfier. Its fairly cheap to run, easy enough for an idiot like me to work on, and fun to drive.
Re: Harphamominom's Ph1 Project
I'd risk it to micks too tbh.
If you do get breakdown, a lot of policies require you to wait 24/48 hours before claiming, so get it sorted ASAP. Chris knott do a good breakdown deal.

Shame Chris just sold his...
Erm, you could break the car so they have to recover it I suppose. Mick must be able to tell you a sensor to remove or something that the recovery guy wont work out? Or cut the throttle cable so it's too short to frig. Obviously this...
Re: Harphamominom's Ph1 Project
Looks surprisingly tidy!
Not sure on your breakdown trick though...I think your car may actually have to have broken down...
Ridiculous that some insurance companies just say no to BD postcodes. Baildon is a good area, and some BD postcodes go right up into the dales, must be some of the lowest risk area's going!
I found sky wrote off my postcode straight away too, but brentacre, flux and admiral group all give...
Loads of heat, then get something like these on it and ease it loose. Might take a few goes.

Thats what I usually do (and had to do yesterday to get a brake nipple out!)
As Dan and James have said, heat is a wonder for getting bolts out.
Find out what bolt it is and get a replacement ordered too, as when its out you dont want to be refitting it!
