I wouldnt worry about the 'glossyness' of the alloys. I too was a bit worried that my refurbed alloys were going to be gloss, I htought it would look s**t tbh! I was wrong! I think they look great! Heres mine in the refurbed dark grey:

Satin black looks crap if youve got wide spoked alloys (like the 182 alloys). Matt black on turini like alloys might look quite good though!

Sealant is something like AGs Extra Gloss Protection. It just helps protect the paint after polishing, and normally goes on before waxing :)

I replaced my front speakers to infinitys, it didnt fit because of the larger magnet. So I cut the plastic out behind where the speaker sits and it fits fine now. I dont think you will have an issue with hitting the window.
