I mentioned in the last update I needed to replace my hub well that's been swapped and definitely needed changed.
Noticed whilst fitting my Whiteline rarb the solid rear brake line that runs along the axle was corroded, so bad when I moved it out the way it started to leak. Spoke to Pro-line...
Third cable is for illumination of the switch, some of the switches are controlled via the UCH that's why there appears to be more than your normal live, neutral and earth.
@dann2707 has changed all his so he's the man to speak to.
Wear a helmet and pull like f**k! (To be clear that's wear a helmet not pull it), or put your steering wheel back on and you'll be able to get better grip to pull it off, give it a little rock side to side to help free it up. Personally I never take my wheel off anymore hate the little Allen...
It doesn't matter as both cables are live, wrap the terminals with tape after to ensure they can't short. I used insulated space connectors which also helps.
If you touched the two cables together your horn would go off, it's only if they wires were to touch something else they would short. No...
It's getting booked in early next week so I'll try my best to remember. It actually annoys me how clean your car is btw haha do you spray everything yourself? Looks very professional.
Just normal braided hose that's used for oil coolers etc? You can actually see some in that photo being used? When I went big turbo on my Ibiza that's what the oil return was replaced with.
There not even close that's the problem, 0-3mm is a big enough tolerance for them to trim the hoses down to not 40mm!
They should of at least offered you a partial refund for your troubles.
Does your DCI rack self centre? I've fitted one to mine and it doesn't, it needs aligned but not sure how much difference this will make since the castor isn't adjustable.
Silverback is what I use, really good! Stay way from auto finesse I rate all their products except their drying towel.

Fitted a new stalk today thought since I'm replacing I might as well get a PH1 stalk, but it still hasn't sorted the issue. Could the relay be the problem? When the key isn't in the lights are off and come on when the I turn the stalk so I wouldn't think the relay is the problem.
Basically I want to know how important heat shields are? I've already scrapped a couple due to removing HPAS and chucked the one that has a hole for the gear linkage due to rust. Now a couple at the rear are loose and I'm thinking of just getting rid.
Is it worth sourcing new ones or even...
Yeah I seen on your instagram haha I went on another hunt after and couldn't find anything. Might start looking in the scrap yards, any idea what year/phase clio they come off? Cheers for that!
Yeah I think all them pipes are a nightmare! I bought some stubby spanners a couple weeks ago which really came in handy!
I need to find one of those 1.2 heat shields! So jealous of yours haha.
Really happy with the EPAS and DCI rack! Before taking it out for its first proper road test in almost 2 years! I thought It would be best to give it a full service, new plugs, oil & filter, and gearbox oil. I already flushed the coolant when installing my T7 heater filling it with Renault type...
Bought a set of cup wishbones with black series bushes fitted a while back and decided I would have a go fitting them in my garage, despite the size I have to work in. The next house I buy MUST have a double garage, fed up of the lack of space now.
Don't have any photos of fitting the bottom...
Carried out a lot of work over the past few month so decided this thread needs a well overdue update!
Completed my oil cooler setup, tbh I'm not 100% happy with the position of the oil cooler, it's been a massive hassle mounting it were I did but this was due to the hose length I bought it...
My brother works for a company that sells and installs Sky, he gets really good offers that he can give to friends and family. The only catch is you have to be a new customer so basically haven't had sky in "YOUR" name in the last 12 months. There are ways around this, one being put it in a...
Good idea but I don't think it will as when I leave the car in the garage I use my cut off switch to isolate the battery so in theory it should be reset. I can't be 100% sure when this fault developed but I've just completed my EPAS setup so thinking it might be a faulty stalk. I don't think...
It's only the wax and polish that come in smaller bottles, I added up each product as if I was buying from the autofinesse website and it came to around £50 still a massive saving.
