Hmmmmm. I've been toying with the idea of moving from Android to Apple based on my experience of their iPad/iPod...but your reasons above are leaving me firmly on the fence. Got to admit screen size is a big issue for me, plus the tinkering etc.
It has low effort on the rear brakes?
That alone is not a failure, the Cup's left the factory with very low fixed rear brake effort as standard.
There's a VOSA release somewhere advising MOT testers not to fail Cups because of low braking affort at the rear.
Oddly enough I'm considering one of these come contract expiry...that or a 4/4S.
iPad 2 and iPod Classic have convinced me of Apple's intuitive interface and apparent ability to keep things moving at pace where others struggle/stutter/slowdown.
The only thing I'm not 100% comfortable with is...
No way could I do that, I'm not a racing driver, I'm your average joe, nothing more, nothing less.
He's talented, I never disputed that, but the way some hold him in such high regard for what he does in these videos I find a bit laughable.
LOL, so you have to rate yourself as a top driver before you can form a relative opinion of someone else's ability?
I'm amazed no one other than myself and Turkish can see the how the huge marketing and production budget coupled with some well executed viral videos puts him on a pedestal for...
Excellent film, amazing what 300 GoPro cameras dotted about coupled with some skilful editing will give you.
As for his skillz, I'm with Turkish. A capable pedlar he is, but there's so many others out there that could replicate this given numerous attempts at each shot.
It's clipped on quite firmly so ought to hold on alright.
I've no wind shield on it either...not sure if it's worth it...sounds good enough as is I think. On a trackday, so long as the inlet airflow stops it melting it should be ok.
The tip of my little finger is bigger. Doubt it'll restrict it too much...or will it? Genuine question as I'm clueless on mechanical things.
And when I say stuck it up, I mean I crocodile clipped it to the inner edge of the trumpet where the acoustic valve is (I think) so it's not like right up...
Got me a powered mic and a loooong lead for my b'day, for a laugh I stuck it up the airbox inlet pipe with promising results. Should be good for trackdays :approve:
POWERRRRRRRRR
I proper lusted after one of these when they first came out...now I think they look hideous LOL...I'd still love a go in one.
Nice improvement on the paintwork.
Never found the lack of ABS an issue on my 172 Cup.
The ABS on my 200 has impressed me so far...it allows a fair degree of threshold slip before it engages, enough to get the front tyres howling on a dry road anyway.
Always thought it would cut in before that point but seems as though Renault...
5 year 100k mile warranty on them so they'll be a solid secondhand bet at 3 years old. That's my plan...get a few more years of use from the 200, then get one of these.
Hopefully people will have walked away en masse bacause not fast enough...so they might end up being a right bargain at that...
Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news
Ooh, Cup, manual 'box...that would work.
Actually, it wouldn't. F*** it, it has to be a GT86 for me next.
Will take one out anyway...see if there's any chance of gelling with the paddle-shift.
