    It's noticeable. That's the only way I can describe it. In the fabia its instant, in the 200 theres a delay that's annoying (to me) on up shifts.

    Having driven one, the gearbox is an issue. The change is quick, but the delay between clicking the paddle and the shift going through is annoying. Other than that, prefer it to the Fiesta. Box is the fabia vrs is light years ahead. The auto box in the merc a class is more responsive.

    Looks great. Personally never understood the "don't drive it hard enough to need the lsd" argument. It's not only in use when driving hard! Ride quality makes sense, same reason I went none cup pack on the 200.

    Trendlines are very average. I've got them in the meg, and I've had them in 2 clios. Barely more supportive than standard seats, nowhere near low enough. They look nice. That's about it. I ended up buying recaro speeds, much better. Gutted I can't fit them in the meg!

    Imo, don't get too caught up with track tyres, tyre temp etc. I'd go standard size, matching tyre all round and get used to being on track. Limits will be lower and a bit more progressive than you get with track tyres. I've done plenty trackdays, ran r888 for a while but don't bother anymore...

    1st track day? In Jan when it's cold? Save some money, run standard tyres (hankook v12 or similar) and spend the money saved on tuition. New to track days you'll be burning expensive rubber without the skill to extract the performance from them. Utterly pointless.

    Given the weight, must feel nuts in gear. The megs running 305lbft, don't think I'd ever 'need' more.

    Was in an early review. Apparently rated to max 206lbft, hence why it's detuned from other applications, doesn't the juke have more torque? Has to be a reason they held it back? As said though, just what I've read, can't vouch for the accuracy.

    I've read that the gearbox is the weak link, hence why is got such a (relatively) low torque figure for a turbo. Given the cost of a dct box, not sure I would want to be the one testing the theory.
