My R26 jack has machined notches in the thread to prevent you lifting the car too high. It only just lifts the wheels off the ground, and won't go high enough to fit axle stands under. This makes my working on the car more dangerous, the opposite of what Renault intended.

how come if you press keys F1 to F4 & F9 to F12 in Win7 the thing beeps, but not if you press F5 to F8?

You've already taken this to BTM, but not had any work done that was suggested? If so, personally I'd stop messing about with random internet advice and take it back to Fred and get the work done that your car sadly needs.

Button needs soldering back on. I had this happen twice on two different mk2 Clios. You know anybody that can solder? They're really quite small and tricky.

Glad you got this sorted mate. Misses took her Megane k4m to a local garage who said they could do the belt no problems. Three attempts and a court case later, the Birchdown lads did it properly. How many people have done this and not known I wonder? Sold/scrapped cars because 'it's not running...

That's bad fella and s**t for Xmas, but shouldn't cost anywhere near £400. I had a 2 sill dents, scuffs on the rear arch and a massive dent ahead of the near side wheel arch sorted & painted in the R26 for £300.

Contrary to others, I think the front is the best angle for these - the side looks dreadful. Plate is the best bit - sorry buddy :headno:
