Firstly, to allay your fears, if the car is running semi-okay then you shouldn't have suffered any damage.
If the timing is out then, yes of course it can be made right. This, however may cost you the full amount of the whole job again at a different garage as they won't necessarily want to use...
1. Wether or not it's timed up properly, take it back to the guy who did the work and tell him it's not right.
2. If that doesn't solve your problem, contact him again and say you will take it to another garage to sort, having done everything reasonable to give him chance to correct the work he...
What's it doing when you try to start it? Can you hear the fuel pump priming? What's the immobiliser light doing? You sure you put all the leads back on correctly?
That looks good fella, glad your enjoying it.
The kangarooing - they all do this to some extent, even my R26 a little. High octane fuel helped in my old 172, and conversely, cheap supermarket fuel made it a lot worse.

Belt snapped on my old one under warranty, so the top end was replaced by dealer. For years it then ran around with the timing out, but had all the faults the OP reported. Birchdown put it right and it was like a different car.
Ignore the haters on here mate.
I like the wheels and the clear indicators but to be honest, everything else is a bit crap. As already said, go for the clean look is my advise, but obviously you don't have to take it.
Do your own thing - find your own place.
Even more so because of:
to add the silver but off the end of the even wire has just snapped off.
Is it just me that has to read things like this really slowly?
Mines been in the post box outside my door on the wall, at least since I finished work at 2 PM, but the wife has taken the f**king key to work and won't be home till late.
I don't think she'd be too impressed to come home and find I've gone all GTAV on it's ass and smashed it to pieces to get...
