Final port and chamber work is done, the head only needs skimming after the chambers have been measured so that face will look perfect. And the guides will be replaced just before the single 45 degree seat is cut as the seats are hand cut radius right now.

2 trumpet lengths to experiment with, if i can fit the longer ones in time they they will go, but that is alot of rad modifications and fabrication.

Mehdis custom cams, springs and retainers arrived today.
These are some lumpy lumpy cams, 290 deg, 2.4mm lift of overlap and 11mm lift!

His custom cams are arriving mid of this week, Throttle bodies are being held up over the smallest part, but will also be here mid this week.
And right now the head is being roughed out to create the port shape requied for the setup and the extensive...
They really come alive with 20k ish miles on.
The oil they are supplied with doesnt allow the best ring sealing in quick time, so the bores tend to glaze and the rings never seal as well as they could.
Proper stick will help.
now THAT is a god beemer, the Mcoupe is the best beemer there is, only because it doesnt follow BMW philosohy.

if you spent the time setting it up then you could possibly do quite well, but it would be a slow responding pendulour car...which might be ok actually...

Just wondering, if your sitting in the seat, how do you reach the door handle that is now 13 feet above you lol.
