check to see if there is any oil near the top end, as the dipstick would read ok even if ther pickup pipe was broken/blocked

has it got oil? Mine did this when the oil pick up pipe broke off. when the engine cooled down it would start and sounded just like that...

lol thinking someone is an amateur becasue they say 'ten' instead of 'one zero' does not indicate an attitude problem. A prime example why you shouldnt use the word 'ten' when speaking it: If your talking to someone who dosnt know a lot about computer systems (like most of the clients i have)...
