Good stuff. I would really reccomend paying up to be a full member on here (£12). Defffo worth it to be honest mate, especially if you plan on working and modding it yourself.
Me too. Already have Sportline springs fitted and need new rear dampers. Interested in the Konis but not if I have to buy and replace the fronts as well. Is there anybody that knows about this properly, rather than the BS that seems to be prevalent here?
You're an aircraft engineer and that is how you communicate? Please let us know exactly what aircraft you have worked on, because I'm sure nobody would be happy to fly on any of them.
You're an aircraft engineer and you drive a car knowing there is no oil in the gearbox? Please let us know...
Exactly that^ The controller shouldn't get in the way in any game IMHO. An analogy would be playing rock band/guitar hero with a normal controller - possible, but stupid.
FPS shooters written for consoles are coded to be slow and to include slight auto aiming. For me, speed and accuracy are the reason I want to play a FPS. PC's for FPS & proper driving sims (rFactor), consoles for everything else.
To the console fanbois, how many individual controls can you...
Mine did this often when the timing was out. Never done it even once since Birchdown did the belts - not had a new battery, fluid or pressure switch fitted, for the record.
Have you used a lens of the sort you are thinking about before? They aren't the easiest of things to use, and I would highly reccomend using them with a monopod; your neck will thank you for if nothing else. The depth of field of a 400 or 500 mil lens shot wide open is very shallow - 500mm at...
Yes.
From Wiki: A "backlash" is a popular negative reaction to something which has gained popularity, prominence, or influence. Although it can sometimes represent a categorical rejection of the idea, aesthetic, product, or fad in question, it is usually a reflection of a collective...
You asked for opinions, and gave yours - all fair enough, but now your asking why people disagreed with you? You didn't offend anybody personally, but managed to offend an entire group of people, hence the backlash IMHO.
I'm in exactly the same situation Lagerlout is (that you repliedt to), but I have left it on (the exhaust & the lexarse lights). I have been known to drive 'enthuasticly' too, but does that make me a chav?
Golfs seem to be the de facto chav wagon round my way, for the younger generation anyway - clio's far too girly. To be honest, I think Ford, Subaru, Mitsubishi et al produce pre-chaved factory cars, for middle aged chavs who think because they didn't buy it all from Halfords, it must be uber...
Seminal moment was first playing Doom, running on the PC in about '93-'94, but in terms of time spent playing probably the GTA series from 3 onwards. Couldn't pick one from them as played them all to 100% many times, but seen as how this is a car club i'll say Vice City as that has the most fun...
I have the Nikon 300mm f/4 AFS, so though I can't comment on the Canon, as a concept they are wonderful for isolating your subject, as the 2 fantastic pics above show. They are also easily hand holdable, and very sharp. I use mine wide open most of the time. I did buy mine whilst still using...
Pun intended? I was after a line, a phone line - for the cheapest price possible. Is there another package I should of chosen that would of saved me money?
