  172 turbo

also gearbox oil only way to check is airbox out plug out joby but then u need a new o ring seal correct?

Large police spec maglight works well - lights out in the garage, lid off, put torch directory over the filler so its sitting on it and switch it on. Instant reading.

^ thats for the PAS

Gearbox is a plastic level plug job but it should start to flow out of that when you take it out. Remove induction setup first though :(

ok mate and u shud see a fluid from the side through the pot correct? if nothing still most likely my problem atm with noise?

  182 Trophy
If it's empty, fill it up, do a few turns lock to lock with the lid off and see if the noise disappears. Then find the leak.

If you have a PAS leak then you need to stop driving the car as running it dry may kill your PAS pump.

Yep. Hence the big maglight cause of the power, should show up and nice and red/pink up the mark
