I only had it a few months before I had the belts done, but looking through the history of the car it was back to the dealer many times to have the faults sorted and they never got to the bottom of it. Was out by 2 teeth I think they said. First belt snapped at 15k and was done under warranty...
Yeah that's what I mean, but I would rather not alter the original wiring so wondered if I could buy an adapter to do this which would plug into the connector that would normally go to the head unit.
Mine was out for 5 and a half years. Main dealer fitted it. All that time it had problems cutting out at low revs when under load and the when starting from cold. Also the tick over was really lumpy. All these problems stopped when birchdown changed mine. It was ok at high engine speeds though...
Seems to me you're never gonna get anything like audiophile quality in a car so the marginal benefits of better quality speaker wire aren't worth the effort fitting it. I've hundreds of pounds worth of cable on my home system so its not that I don't know it would sound better, or are you saying...
Currently got Pioneer DEH-5200SD & TS-Q131C fitted but have bought a Alpine MPR-F450 amp. Is it possible to wire the speaker feed from the amp to the connector behind the head unit, using an opposite sex connector so as to preserve the original wiring and to prevent messing about with running...
It will come of his insurance yeah. Just wasn't sure I had to tell other company for an entirely different car for a none fault accident when I wasn't even driving. Seems a little harsh. Engineer valued car at £2,000, but I guess that's standard now as it 10 years old, valid MOT and scrapage...
Girlfriend pulled up to the back of him (a little too close), he tried setting off and rolled back into us. We were stationary. I could see what was about to happen and told her to let the car roll back, but she just said "what?", then the crunch.
If I don't inform them (insurance company on...
This happened recently, girlfriend driving & i was in the car too; it's her car but my insurance policy (tpft) with her as a named driver.
I have a claim in and had an independent report done which unsurprisingly has written it off. Question is, do I have to tell my other insurance company...
As above, passenger seat will tilt forward but wont slide at the same time, but it will slide using the lever at the front. Anybody know of a fix for this?
Glad you got this sorted. Wonder just how many times this happens, as mine really is loads better. My dad had the belts changed on a Lancia turbo, which eventually sized due to getting too hot. Turned out timing was out.
Birchdown lads did mine a few weeks ago. They said the old one was out of time, which was done at a Renault dealer. It was like that for 5 years then...
It now runs loads better, doesn't die when first started from cold, isn't as hesitant, smoother idle, a different car really. It was an...
Mines the same. Put it on and walk round the back of the car. Top quarter misses the screen completely. Then look at just how curved the back window actually is. They seem far too stiff to bend over that radius of glass.
Think I might get a Tom Tom then as the number of times I've wanted to throw the Garmin out of the window, I can't remember. My GF had to actually stop me doing that once in Bradford city center. Need to go from Windermere to Ambleside? The stupid thing says turn left constantly whilst the lake...
Mines a Garmin and it works in bottom left hand corner, but I must say not brilliantly. Never tried in the middle. Are you saying yours didn't work at all unless on the cut out bit?
If you've turned the wheel they will move so that could explain it. If they were attached to the body work, you wouldn't be able to turn the steering. The whole strut turns as the steering does, nence the need for the top bearing.
There should be a gap between top part and the bodywork. It only really stops the strut falling out when you jack up the car / get air over a bridge. The weight of the car pressing down on the rubber donut holds it in place.
Must just be me, but what is with the fashion for black wheels? They look bloody awful. Not having a do at the OP, but I've honestly not seen a car look nice with them that wouldn't look nicer with silver / chrome. White 2118's look good on certain colours but black, no!
Just Me?
I play it a lot, but using guitar from hero world tour. IIRC it has wired instruments but even so, that's a good price. Have a look at the track listing 1st though as you may not like many.
If you haven't played any games in this genre before then its a good introduction for that price. I'd...
