Honestly, that's a terrible ad. 2 similar pics, one on the snow? No rear pics, no interior pics, no bay pics? I know you've mentioned the reason, but why put the ad up? Even if it's pissing down you can get interior/bay pics. Would put me right off.
Get some scotchguard style fabric protector on those seats. The White gets very grubby, very quickly.
Good choice, love albi on the 200. Didn't know you had a 200 truffalo?
Having owned both, I'd save your cash and get a non cup 172 over a 182. Cheaper for the same basic car. Flame red looks fantastic, and the exhaust is cheaper to replace when it fails. If modifying is a possibility in the future, you have more options with a 172 than a 182 with cup suspension...
RB 182's look fantastic, especially with black wheels. I'd prefer the 182, much better spec and better looking in RB. Although don't discount a ph2 172, the saving alone makes it worth it.
He's on coilovers. The ride minus cup suspension is a lot better. Doesn't have the same level of body control at speed, and cup suspension would definitely be better on track. But overall, I'm glad I don't have cups packs. Would prefer to have the cup rack though. A small but worthwhile improvement.
Aren't they unsuitable for use in places like the Alps etc?
Please note that they’re not approved for use in the Alps where snow chains/ snowchains are required, whatever you might read elsewhere. These snow chain regulations require the use of “metal” components, and even though...
Of the 2 options, kw get my vote everytime. The set o ast's I had were poorly setup, and poorly built. H&r's are very good, although you'll get the 'track studs' telling you they are too soft (utter nonsense).
Although I'd rather change the hubs and get some kw's or billies.
Although Ali would probably have kittens, maybe a carbon wrap would be better than black? Looks like the white one may have a carbon wrap? That way, the wheels won't need to 'match'.
Or, just get a satin finish wrap?
I still don't see the point of not getting cup packs. If it was going on coils anyway, at least you would of got the quicker rack, that's the one thing I miss on mine.
