Personally, & whilst i think its a very nice car, the only way you will get anywhere near to £3k for it is buying breaking/putting it back to standard. Thats not me being harsh, thats having owned/sold/broken/built a few of them.

Actually, ZX = Ph1 306 Xsara = Ph2 306 So the ZX 16v was actually the same car as the 306 S16, as they both use the XU10 J4D/Z lump & create 155bhp.... The xsara Vts/306 Gti6 used the XU10 J4RS & produce 167bhp. Unless of course you are talking about the very rare Citroën ZX Dakar 2.0...

You upset me. The xsara Vts is a 306Gti6, one of the best hot hatches to ever grace this planet. I'd talk about it in the same sentence as the other great 'arch-gappers' tbh ;)

Its an '04. Id pay an absolute max of £4.5k for it personally. With the money you have, just buy a Trophy. They are better. Speaking from experience as well, ive had a RB 182 (cup packed), 172 Cup, & 2 x Trophies.

Sounds like you had a good time, my drive of a 355 at Thruxton was the biggest disappointment ever. Complete load of balls, had to pretty much leave it in 4th & tootle round. Didnt get to hear it scream, something id waited for for years :( Car was a complete nail as well, Ferrari on 160k...
