Tbh, Flux have you over a barrel as their cancellation charges are so ridiculous ... i have to pay £600 a year for my 182 Trophy, at 28, with 6 years no-claims!! Purely as i was 4 months into my policy on the saxo & would have pretty much lost the whole lot if i moved elsewhere ...
Not sure, havent put them on the car yet lol.
Would imagine that id prefer the 15's though. The tyres are narrower, & less grip = more adjustability in my eyes.
The T1R's i took off had 5-6mm of tread, & went straight onto the F1's that Budgie is selling (i swopped the T1R's for his PE2's) :)
Right, well i've now acquired two more PE2's, so i have a set of 4 ... will see how they go i suppose ... Can see myself wanting to run 15's permanently though lol.
Saw this coming a mile off lol ... & for once, im not the only person saying that people should learn to drive before stripping/suspension, etc. How refreshing ;)
If you need bits for a PH 172, ie interior & such like, might i suggest pm'ing budgie (or checking his for sale thread) as we...
Considering you havent even done a track day i think you're bonkers!!
The clio is actually fairly effective as standard, & you have essentially just changed things for the sake of it/via heresay at the moment ... personally, id leave it well alone. Some tuition will make you far quicker/a...
Yup. Avus = sexual ;)
Price wise, id happily pay £4.5k for it, especially having looked at half the nails around the £3.5-£5k market these days. Interior, pah, £350 on eBay will get you full black leather!
Nah, bung it up!!
The calculator is in 'members', then 'my garage' section of PH. And yes, petrol prices are difficult to judge, so i base it on the average pence per litre of fuel for the period that i own the car ...
Maybe worth a sticky?
Thought these may be useful for anyone looking into buying one of these great little cars.
Using the Pistonheads running cost calculator, i do a detailed breakdown of everything spent on my cars. It covers:
Depreciation
Insurance
Tyres
Tax
Servicing/repairs (luckily...
Not sure what scene this falls into tbh, but i think it looks fairly epic now .... Not sure why though, it goes against everything i believe in lol ...
Ah well, hope some of you like it
I do hope you're buying all this via the group buy i sorted out on the ClioTrophy forum lol ...
10% off!!
I'm actually not going for it anymore, as im going to see what its like on track before tinkering with it. Then as you say, if i want a bit more adjustability ill get the front...
Hate to be a picky sod, but the graph clearly states that the graph is for Runs 1 & 3, although the operator on a DD rolling road can pull back data from any number of previous entries and overlay it onto the graph, as proven here by my graph from Surrey Rolling road (runs 4 & 11)...
