    172 Cup track toy build

Yeah your wheels are superb, my black ones are badly kerbed so need a refurb sooner or later :) The shifter is great, luckily it's a track car that's rarely on the road, no way could I live with the buzzing on a daily!

Track Tyres - Feedback and Recommendations

Any experience with NS2-R? I have a set to go on, hoping the sidewalls are stronger but could do with a point on pressures.

Track Tyres - Feedback and Recommendations

Yeah, live and learn! Ran my others at 28psi cold and didn't touch them again, they were great with no odd wear

Gear linkage fitted, love it! although the buzzing in 5th gear is already pissing me right off. Anti roll bar not done yet as the rear beam bushes are shot so better doing all in one go 😧

Track Tyres - Feedback and Recommendations

I'd like a bit of advice please. I ran my RSRs at 30psi hot and they didn't like it, one of the shoulders has all but gone but I'm concerned about this one bit...... I'd like to swap the fronts left to right and ideally run them one more day......opinions on whether they're ok or not?

as an all rounder I'd have a 182 ff or a trophy if you could stretch to it, for track only a cup for me :)

    Splitter fitter - 182

that's down to the person, not the method, I'm bloody fussy about fit and finish, mine is perfectly even left to right, but whatever way works for you  Cheap mod and nice effect

    Splitter fitter - 182

I'd rather have one end finished properly, it makes absolutely no difference to the fit, half formed lmao, it's plenty flexible, mine is perfect, I prefer the factory finished end at the drivers side, but I'm fussy.

    Splitter fitter - 182

remove all the screws, cut off the tabs and screw the lip on, you'll need to trim one end as it's too long but it's easy :)

gopros own software from the site is very easy to use and it even prepares it for YouTube

    eBay tuning

Please don't. These boxes are generally a resistor in a plastic case that links out the maf altering the fuelling, it will go bang sooner or later.

Cook sport springs with 15's any pics? handling comparison with coil overs?

I wouldn't put BC in the decent category! they are strictly budget and feel like it! cup dampers and cooksports perform well, albeit slightly soft imo, not going to be up there with proper coil overs for track work but I'm happy with mine

Is the bolt slightly damaged? Looks to be slightly abused from what I can see. File off any rough edges and try again :)

HELP..Putting resistors on airbag seat and steering wheel plus

yeah, if you have that thread opened when you're doing it you can work it out ok, I actually cut the plugs off and soldered the resistors to the relevant wires and stripped the rest away :) Don't forget the steering wheel and passenger airbag ones of you're removing that.

    172 Cup track toy build

no it's the 19mm, I went with the smaller one as my car is pretty well balanced already, but interested to try one of these to make it a little more eager on corner entry! Softest on the PMS is meant to be similar to hardest on the whiteline

It did the trick, showed how much it was rolling on the sidewalls :)

Track Tyres - Feedback and Recommendations

I actually used tyre dressing, once hot I set them at 30psi and there was less than 1" dressing left on the sidewall, this is what did the most damage to my RSRs, last time out I set them at 28psi cold and didn't touch them the rest of the day and they were much better!!

Track Tyres - Feedback and Recommendations

yeah I thought they were worth a try, The RSRs have been great but wearing the shoulders badly, probably more me than the tyre though!
