Yeah your wheels are superb, my black ones are badly kerbed so need a refurb sooner or later :)
The shifter is great, luckily it's a track car that's rarely on the road, no way could I live with the buzzing on a daily!
Gear linkage fitted, love it! although the buzzing in 5th gear is already pissing me right off.
Anti roll bar not done yet as the rear beam bushes are shot so better doing all in one go 😧
I'd like a bit of advice please. I ran my RSRs at 30psi hot and they didn't like it, one of the shoulders has all but gone but I'm concerned about this one bit......
I'd like to swap the fronts left to right and ideally run them one more day......opinions on whether they're ok or not?
that's down to the person, not the method, I'm bloody fussy about fit and finish, mine is perfectly even left to right, but whatever way works for you  Cheap mod and nice effect
I'd rather have one end finished properly, it makes absolutely no difference to the fit, half formed lmao, it's plenty flexible, mine is perfect, I prefer the factory finished end at the drivers side, but I'm fussy.
Pms shifter and arb going on this week, for now, removed the stereo remote and fitted a blank and picked up a set of black 1.2s I'm thinking of powder coating a stupid colour :)
I wouldn't put BC in the decent category! they are strictly budget and feel like it!
cup dampers and cooksports perform well, albeit slightly soft imo, not going to be up there with proper coil overs for track work but I'm happy with mine
I know it's painful having a crash but I bet you're secretly loving this, I find myself wanting another build project now the clio is almost done, I really miss tinkering with it at every available hour!
yeah, if you have that thread opened when you're doing it you can work it out ok, I actually cut the plugs off and soldered the resistors to the relevant wires and stripped the rest away :) Don't forget the steering wheel and passenger airbag ones of you're removing that.
no it's the 19mm, I went with the smaller one as my car is pretty well balanced already, but interested to try one of these to make it a little more eager on corner entry! Softest on the PMS is meant to be similar to hardest on the whiteline
I actually used tyre dressing, once hot I set them at 30psi and there was less than 1" dressing left on the sidewall, this is what did the most damage to my RSRs, last time out I set them at 28psi cold and didn't touch them the rest of the day and they were much better!!
