oil temperature gauge fitment ph1 172

I no there's been posts like this be for but it saves me a lot of hassle going though all of them
Right I have a 172 ph1 and would like to fit a oil temp/pressure gauge i'v had a quick Google and from what I can tell if need a plate/sandwich to fit between the oil filter is this right?

for the pressure sensor use the cup fitment
for the temp sensor use a valver one
