Mostly the latter tbh, Danny & I broke all the mounts pushing it onto the ramps a couple of weeks ago. Bumper caught, ripped itself off & took the headlights with it ... oops :o
New headlights, 'dimma' grill & some swearing & the Saxo has a front end again :cool:
Btw, never ever use Sikaflex to stick things together, it is an utter c*nt to get off!!!. In the end, I had to use Sarah's nail polish & a scouring pad to remove the excess from the bonnet ....
Take it back there and/or get Citizens Advice involved.
Imho no other garage will want to touch someone else's mess, as it gets them involved from a liability perspective.
Guys, when he f*cked his Cup the 1st time round, i offered to buy it from him for the money he advertised it at & would collect it that night.
On the phone, he first moaned at me for phoning him at work, then told me i would have to be there within 2 hours with the money. He had not serviced...
We normally have a 50% off voucher for the 1st 10 people that turn up, ie the regulars. Then the other peasants have to fight it out for themselves :rasp:
