Count me in, not August though as im likely to be on holiday somewhere ...
Saturdays would be nice as Sarah can come as well then!! Was a perfect track for the sexo, ie not too high speed (lack of power) so id be happy to do it again asap.
No track days booked in for May or July yet. Hint hint ;)
Get underneath, the nuts are under the exhaust heatshield in the middle & behind some rubber bungs for the outside ...
They bolt down through the floor. Look through my Cup project thread & theres a how to in there :)
Sounds a bit random - perhaps they thought you had a cage (thats an instant no from them).
Bit odd though, what happens when you take your rear seats out when moving house for example, are you then uninsured lol :S
Brilliant day!! Thanks for organising it all Chris :D .... count me in for August btw!!
Shame soo many people left when it rained, i actually far preferred it in the afternoon, far less greasy than in the morning & we definately got some awesome laps in. Shame i seem to have covered up the mic...
The exception.
Full build cost = less than a nice, standard 106 gti of the same age/miles.
I have a spec list longer than my arm, of pretty much all the best bits ... ;)
Doesnt matter, phone National Windscreens direct & they sort all the insurance stuff out for you ...
PS. Its also cheaper if you phone the windscreen companies yourself, your insurance company normally charges you an extra £25 for the 'help' of going through them ;)
I'll bring it out to play when the weather gets a little better
Another little update. I've fancied getting a pugsport for it for quite a while now (especially after hearing Mikes on his 16v S1!) as i had them on both my 106 Gti's .... they are blooming awesome!!
Unfortunately, trying...
FLOL. Name & shame the goon!!
Its a £60 track day for gods sake, when you consider 20 minute taster sessions at Coombe are £20, its a veritable bargain.
I for one cant wait :D
I dont get the love, not once have i just wanted to take mine out for a drive :( The saxo on the other hand ... at least 30 miles a night since it was MOT'd!! Far to sterile for my liking. Brilliant day to day car mind you, it just does everything very well ...
You'll have to come out in mine...
Yup, he's been bombarding me with pm's all day lol ... i told him to bugger off & go diving/bonk his missus/sunbathe!! Anything but sit on CS whilst on holiday ;)
Re: the car, as Mike says, the handling is epic, hopefully a little track like Llandow should suit it - power isnt so amazing, but...
