Aye, although mine has 750mm of CAF to mute the induction noise. I've never had a problem with it, and at Bedford, even without the CAF you shouldn't get picked up on a driveby.
My bad, had a sh*t day at work. Don't mean to come across as c**ky, but I find it incredible that some people can't see the value in the product that is being offered to them.
I would put it more like this...
Coilovers sold on ebay for 160 pounds
Coilovers start to sell
Company acting...
Exactly!
LOL at b**ching about a £20 increase. How much do you spend on a night out?
As for the price being reasonable or otherwise, the £200 includes VAT doesn't it?
That would mean that K-Tec are paying £90, and selling for £170 giving them less than a 50% margin. I don't know what the...
Could be a hairline crack in one of the silencers?
I had my centre section split around the middle, sounded a bit louder en route to a trackday, had a look under the car but couldn't see anything wrong.
Spent all morning giving it death and it was getting louder and louder, come lunchtime...
I remember reading a report a while back which said insurers view 3 points for a phone offence as much more serious than 3 points for a minor speeding offence.
Makes sense to me.
I've got to bow out of this now I'm afraid...Cup's been running a bit lumpy like it's on 3 and a half cylinders for a while, and today it's really bad, back-firing everywhere.
I could bring the Focus but that would be embarrassing LOL
Have a good safe drive.
Having different volumes on SD or HD channels I can deal with.
What f***s me off is sitting watching an HD program, getting the volume just right (enough sub action to feel it without waking the family up), then when the commercial break starts the volume takes a step up... it's so f***ing loud...
Got my morning pass from the wife sorted so I'm definitely on for this.
Could someone in the know have a word and sort the weather/track (err, road) out? Nothing too demanding, dry surface, clear sky, no other traffic, and >10 degrees should do it.
IMO
Pagids - 30,000 miles mine lasted, low-ish but consistent force when cold, better bite when hot.
PF97s - Epic and messy. Variable bite, very little when cold then instant when hot. Tricky to modulate on the road as a result but they excel on track.
CLs - Make your ears bleed at town...
Here's mine from yesterday, 100% standard, aiming for 100PS (98bhp or so), and made almost 104.
This is from a run I had done there on my 172 Cup last year, showing a before & after curve.
For the lower curve (177bhp peak) the mods were;
R-sport Group N ECU
ITG panel filter
K-tec...
It's just coming up for 4,000 miles. Sounds about right to me, will loosen up nicely over the next 10k and probably get closer to book.
LOL at 28%!!! Does sound a bit far fetched.
Nice one John, always a good day, good to see everyone.
Mightily surprised by my Focus, 100% standard, 121,000 miles, and it comes in 6% over book at 103.8 bhp :approve:
If only Renault engines did that eh?!?!?
May have been but would likely make no difference...My Cup went there 3 years running with no change to the setup, and with the curves from all runs overlaid, there was no daylight between the lines, anywhere at all, so it's a very consistant RR.
Excellent gains Jay, shows that headline...
To fit the script.
LOL at those that feel the need to point out that a GT3 is quicker than a 200. Regardless of the reasons behind it...the one in this video wasn't, was it?
I love this too Chris. Haven't bothered mentioning it since FM3 came out, but as you say, get deep into how the physics work and it's sublime.
The Formula BMWs around Brands I struggled with until I worked out I could 'lean' on the downforce, more speed = more grip :approve:. Also it's the...
