There was a RR day in August (I think) at Aldon. The results were pretty low, and this was everyone's car, not just the occasional 1 or 2. I don't know any down here, (Telford/W.Midlands) so I can't give any advice.
Welcome to the club, do a search for LAD and see the information that comes back!!!
I've never had one, but they don't get rave reviews as the club asked them if they could Rolling Road one of their cars, but they wouldn't...although I'm not the best person to ask, I'm sure that there'll be...
Let onto you on other side of the roundabout near there this afternoon, dunno if you're on here, but thought I'd give you a mention, just in case.

If you drive like an idiot in the wet, then you know the potential scenario. I'd just advise on spend a wee while getting used to the motor. Smile when it leaves people standing in "superior" cars! I've had mine since April 2004 and still enjoy driving it.
The lack of ABS isn't an issue...
Sorry Mark, only just got onto the PC tonight...several things to do. I did wave as I was passing, but was trying to pay attention to the slowing traffic in front of me.
Thought it was me for a second!!!!
Did it have a fancy plate (slightly "illegal" font)? If it did, I think I've seen the lad who owns it in Oakengates.
Don't know who he is, and didn't have a flyer for him...that reminds me, better renew my membership (even if you don't get a pen anymore...
The 172 cup comes in mondiale blue, you can get a 182 in arctic blue...v.similar.
Do you want the toys? if so 182 is way to go. Im a cup owner, and love it to pieces, but 182 is newer, and you can get the 182 with cup suspension/spoiler/splitter...so its a cup with the extra toys (and a bit...
I thought the allowance was 500miles, I wouldnt wanna risk it, just in case of a warranty problem, wanna give them as little as possible to find to wriggle out of a warranty issue.
Ive always got the car in by 12,450 and 24, 400 so I didnt end up going over, just in case!
I will post this again, and link it to a website, rather than the computer! Sorry!

Managed to find the little sensor unit in a Clio in a scrapyard, the only thing is that it was a totaled Cup
2 minute job to fit it (if that!)
Last night, I put a sock in the gap behind it, just so that the alarm wasnt beeping through the night, and also so that the doors locked.
They will still be making the Clio II in Extreme and another version and will be sold at a cheaper price than the Clio III when that comes out. So I would assume, that Renault wanna keep a toe in the Hot hatch market until RS Clio III comes out.
It doesnt lock!!! If I use the key, the solenoid in the boot will lock, and the passenger door locks, but the drivers side door wont lock. I cant alarm the car as the alarm beeps to let me know the door is open (as the bit doesnt recognise that the door is shut)
Ive had to bodge it until next...
There is a small black switch (for want of better word), where the door closes. I caught this, and its broken! Now, the light on the dash seems to think that the door is open (even though all are totally shut) and the interior light is on. I though I could turn the light off, and ignore the...
He will be trying to get it in before cut-off for his bonuses. If he tries to pressure you, YOU ARE THE CUSTOMER, and take your cash and go elsewhere. If they dont need the sale, then surely some other dealer will...and you would be in the drivers seat (excuse pun!)
Dont let them shaft you...
**Checks to see hes not dreaming...
J...a Phase 2 Clio???
Have you banged your head? ;)
Good darts fella...nice piece of kit, Ive seen Lees in flesh, and looks nice. Still dont think it should be in red...more like 449 Blue! ;)
Dont forget that Batteries only have so long a life. When was it put in? Is there a receipt for it? Does it have any life guarantee (1 year, etc.,)?
Dont know if that helps, but may give an indication as to whether the fault is more than likely to be at the battery, although I cant see the...
The airbag wire is under the drivers seat, and with the cars having 3 doors, the seat is being moved back and forth to let people into the back...the cable gets pulled and the light(s) come on. Its warranty work, and they just extend the cable so the light doesnt come on. (PS. Its warranty if...
Oh...my bad.
I wasnt slating the car, I think it looks V.nice.
I think original looking valvers are getting rarer...just like 5GTTs that havent been played with. Original, unfiddled with GTTs are rarer than rocking horse poo!

I bought my 172 cup from a dealer, 6 month old ex-demo. Where I worked, they dropped a scrap car battery through the drivers wing, so took it to a bodyshop to get sorted, when they were checking the car over, it turned out that there was some damage caused by some sort of knock, and that it was...
