Definitely different albeit not so much to my tastes and I liked the fact that whilst it was all a bit in your face, it was subtly so and not gimmicky with ridiculous body kits etc.
That is until the new number plate! Not a fan of it at all, but each to their own!
Really nice.
In a way it's a shame the speed line centres are gold and not silver. If it was mine I think I'd go for silver and paint the lettering on the bullets too to match. Still looks great as it is though!
Thinking about doing my door pillars satin black now too, also really like the...
Thought I'd update, as a few things have happened and what I want to do with the car has changed a bit too!
I'll start off with what's been done:
o 428 Cams
o Matched Inlets
o Belts & Dephaser
o Plugs
o Oil/Filter
I noticed my dephaser was a bit rattly and in all honesty I was dubious about...
I like the BK's! They're no worse or better than turinis (i have turini's on mine!). Really like the rota grid V's too. Think those BK's would look better if the car was super low.
It does!
You use varying grades of sand paper, going from the hasher (1200) to the finer (1500, I even used 2500). The harsher grade literally scratches away the surface with the finer grades making the scratch marks successively smaller and smaller. Once you've got down to a very fine grade...
Looking for a reputable company to remap my 182, local to the Cheltenham/Gloucester/Stroud area. I'm willing to go further but ideally would like to go tosomeone local with the right tools, experience and a good reputation for obvious reasons!
Google doesn't seem to be much use, as to be...
Is this karting happening? I have a lot of mates from Uni still in Plym for work, so it'd be a good excuse to go and see them, plus do this. Might be able to persuade one or two to come along too.
Massively admire the amount of work you're pouring into this! Wouldn't be seen driving around in it myself, but I still like it all the same! I'd say rear exhaust personally. Not a big fan of them on the sides for most cars!
Perhaps in his current stage of life/situation, he's not able to have a sport. It's not as if the money's lost to him if he buys the alloys as he can always resell them later.
A quick google brings up a load of prices for rota grids, but if you mean second hand I guess it depends on the...
Standard size bud, as far as I know! They're all 205/45/16. Car is on Eibach Pro springs @ rear and I believe so on the front, haven't had the front dampers replaced yet to find out. But I put the rears in myself as seen earlier in the thread. Not sure if that's making a difference to how big...
Clio looks better, too much going on with the Fiesta's bonnet for me. That said, the Clio's not really much of a picture and certainly no 172/182 for me! Might be bias as I have a 182 but there's just something about the older models.
16's bud, came off a Cup originally IIRC! Wrapped in Michelin PS3's at the back and PE2's at the front.
Car went in the garage today for the new discs & pads. Has cured the squeeling so I'm glad I kept hold of the old rear tyres rather than leaving them with ATS when they changed the wheels...
Car's into the garage tomorrow for rear discs & pads to be fitted. Mildly gutted actually - I'd already booked it in, but wanted to have a go at it myself just haven't found the time this week. In the mean time a few other bits and bobs happened.
DIY with Viper filter got scrapped as this came...
Would appreciate if the gurus could take a quick peak at this video and give me an opinion on whether they think the dephaser is the likely culprit? It sounds very similar to a lot of the other dephaser vids.

I went for it today and fitted the rear shocks and the Eibach springs that came with the car when I bought it. After reading some old threads/guides and seeking a little advice I decided it was something I could definitely do!
It was all pretty plain sailing and rather pedestrian to those...
