Probably not going to be putting them on until weekend after next! Never know, might drive it to a friends and put them on there if I can't wait! ;)
This went in today after a good price and a lot of reading up on induction kits vs standard airbox. I have to be honest... I do really like the...
Made an offer & dropped a deposit on these, picking them up this weekend! Will need to sort out the center caps but I think they'll look great.
A little further research and a second look at an old Cliosport thread without information overload going through my mind has confirmed that the two...
I've been there! Sucks.
£630 this year on a 182. 2 years NCB, no prior experience of a car of its type (Was told this would bring it down further). Bit late to the party but heading further into the over 25's bracket this year so all in all I'm very happy with that! Hoping next years will see...
So... forgot some stuff!
Since I've had it:
o Pioneer front speakers & Tweeters. FLI rears (for now, would like to upgrade the whole lot including head unit one day).
o CS Tax disc & under high level brake light sticker.
Things I'd like to do
o LED Strip in boot, wired from boot light to...
Thought I'd make a project thread. Possibly more as a log of what I've done/am doing with the car for myself, but I've found so many of the project threads really helpful with tiny snippets of information that I thought I'd give something back and hopefully someone might find a few bits and bobs...
Just a heads up to say wherever you get your tyres from, don't make it LoveTyres.com. Massive ball ache... two different tyres said they were in stock, neither turned out to be took them a whole day to notify of that fact and they still took the cash from my account for both pairs (Seperate...
So, I don't have axel stands or the knowledge/equip (yet!) to fit the rear springs. Need the rear tyres replaced anyway... so asked for a quote to fit new tyres to the rims + do shocks at the same time, with me providing the tyres. Quote was £100 with all balancing, aligning etc.
Good/ok quote...
Socket set w/ torq handles etc, spare bulbs, walking boots, gloves, warning triangle, tyre weld, AA card, high vis, jack and a Top Gun CD in case I'm in the s**t and need some emergency cheese to keep moral high.
Can't stress enough how much you should carry a warning triangle if you drive B...
Can't tell if the unlock part worked or not, but it allowed me to read the ECU/CAL from my car? Have sent Henk the info from the screenshot after ordering the maps as the guides said.. so I guess we'll find out. Also asked him if the unlock code would still work. In my limited experience with...
So.. think I made a mistake regarding unlocking the RSTuner.
Bought one off here.. didn't connect the RSTuner to my 182, just copied and pasted the 19 digit code that was already there when I connected it to my PC (not connected to car, just PC). I now gather this is probably a code generated...
Not true that you can't get direct fit - Pioneer do a set that 'hot swap' called the TS-Q131C. Having said that, I've got them in my 182 and wouldn't recommend them as a one stop shop solution. If you're keeping the standard head unit, you'll be disappointed if you like loud and bassy. Someone...
Managed to get this information by using Google translate off the German document. Does this sound right?
EW 7524002 HA

Outer diameter (mm)
140
Wire diameter (mm)
10.25 to 14.75 (inconstant)
Spring length (mm)

Yeah.. basically, I'm trying to work out if the part number of EW7524002HA printed on the springs that I have in my possession belongs to the pro-kit with the number of: E10-75-001-02-22 or the pro-kit with a number of: E10-75-001-01-22! Reason being that from the thread I linked in the OP...
Not finding any useful info on that site bud? I already have the springs.. trying to determine whether or not they're the correct springs for my 182 as an old Cliosport thread suggested there was two 'models' for different weights of car.
So, when I bought my 182.. the guy gave me a pair of Eibach springs and simply said "if you like a stiffer ride, these are good". Didn't think anything of them, until today.
They read: Eibach EW7524002HA on them. I did google/search ClioSport and the only info I could come up with, was from an...
Just wanted to say thanks for this thread!
Took out a few hours of my weekend today and had a crack at doing this. I don't have a DA/rotary polisher, so it was all done by hand over the best part of 4 hours.. but I'm massively pleased with the results. I used 1200 & 2500 grit Wet & Dry sand...
Just intrigued to see if I over paid, or got a reasonable deal:
BG 182 with both cup packs, very good condition interior with no rips etc. Only wear and tear I can notice is slight bobbling on arse area of the drivers seat material and some steering wheel melt.
Few small stone chips in the...
