Silly saxo has its engine in backwards. Air comes from the front and the exhaust goes out of the rear yet they thought they would put the engine in the other way around.

I shall give it a good inspections morrow before I let you loose on my loom. ;)

Hopefully going for a heated windscreen and getting rid of the heater matrix.

Ok thanks. I think the switch panel sits over the top dash and cover where the original clock and temperature display are.

At the moment I will put the silver boot on just to seal it up. I have looked at the costs and the Plastic ones are almost twice as much but may get a whole kit for all the windows and do a fibreglass boot and doors too at the same time. I need a new windscreen too as a crack is growing right...

New Bonnet and Switch panel

The Mother In Law was doing some gardening whilst we were out yesterday. She was strimming the grass at the edge of the drive and it ended up like this:

On route home from a road trip to see Chris at CMComposites. Picked up a new bonnet and switch panel.

It does also say see accompanying certificate which mine didn't come with.

It's on the passenger side main hoop in the rear. I will get a photo.

Bought a Roll cage so will get the feet for that welded in before preparing the shell for painting.

Just marked the Clio SORN. Might as well accept its not going to be back on the road in the next month or two. :(
