Oh here's an interesting one that happened to me. The immobiliser got stuck on. You can tell this as when you turn the key the round red light stays on when the rest go out. Guide on here on how to reset it.

I would say starter motor to err start with. Two wires ones a push on and ones a bigger bolt on one. When I did mine the gearbox earth came lose after a few miles and the lights on the dash went bat s**t crazy! Not 100% but woulda thought if the earth was out you would experience a similar thing.

I wrote you a guide in one of your other post explaining you don't have to wait but seems I wasted my time.

Yeah if you go to fastchip site and go to license just don't forget to change the option to your car as its set default to a v6 which is like three times the cost(its at the bottom of the page). You also need to have plugged the Tuner into the PC/laptop with the current version of the program...

name shouldn't matter mate. its whats in the file that matters. I got two files, Ones an .rst for the ecu update and ones the .cal for the map. Can`t help you beyond this mate as I just followed the instructions above and it all worked fine.

okay now looking at your first post it looks like you are updating the ecu. after that update is when you load the .cal with the new map on it.

It tells you if its wrong if i remember. As long as you have updated the ECU with the tuner before doing the update you should be fine. Henk should sent you two files and there are plenty of guides. Update ECU is the long one and then adding the map is the quick one if that helps..

Noticed today that i haven`t attached the lower front gearbox mount to the actual gearbox (not the dog bone, its the one that attaches to the sub frame and the box, next to the earth strap). Kinda basic error by me but I cant find the bolts or sizes of what I should use. Can someone help please...

Not massively helpful this as there may be mechanical bits you can do but mine always fails first time and then I get him to gun the s**t out of it and test again. Always passes then! Sports cat and some sort of 2.5inch aftermarket exhaust too.

Ohh FYI this was a newbie mistake of mine. I had trapped the ht lead in the manifold so was cooking that. Had to replace it as misfire occurred after I had run it a while.

Sorry for the thread hijack but I've tried to contact him to. Couldn't find a licence cheaper than 98euro and everyone here thinks it's 58. Think I found the right map for my 04 plate 182 but anyone got any links to help out so I buy the right license and map (ron98)?.

If your quick you can press the button in the back of the Van that one of em jumps out of. That blows him up nice and quick. Also if your struggling on that it gets a lot harder :)
