it's a tarmac rally car specced to drive tarmac stages. No less a rally car than an fiesta rs wrc is in asphalt trim
Not that any of this really matters!
Does the throttle work? If you turn the ignition to no2 and press the accelerator you should hear it move. It could also be a vacuum leak - maybe at the carbon canister connections if you have been messing around down there.
To complete the thread
I connected the red wire to a switched live from the fuse board in the car, the black wire to the chassis and the blue wire I spliced into the orange wire from the coil plug wiring
And it works!
So on the coil plug I have Orange, cream and white any ideas which ones I want?
After some reading I think I want to tap into the white 12v feed and then either of the other two, with a ground on the chassis?
Thats not the way it works though is it - the terminator said "I'll be back" but it's arnie that's remembered for it
