I am Picking up whiffs of petrol from the drivers rear wheel arch.
I have checked for leaks but can't see any?
Anything I should check? Pipes perish etc?
Or do they have a tendency to vent a little?

I have just been on the phone to Renault about a new 172 cup alternator. There are apparently two different types, both valeo items but with different part numbers.
Price difference is about £55
Will they both fit?
You can hide most of the wiring behind the dash when you have removed circuits you want.
No I removed that, its quite a hefty lump plus the main reason for removing it was I didn't have control over it ( standard climate control mixed with a cup heater just didn't work, fan did - controlling...

I suppose it depends on what level of car you are building - if its a full spec car with a clicky box etc. then it would probably be worth it.

My question is : can I change the standard ratio's to give me better acceleration and a lower top speed?
I was thinking of maybe CWP and 5th gear?
What info do you have? and how do I work out top speed in each gear etc?

Very happy with the handling, BUT it bottoms out over the big bumps
So
If I up the spring rates to 350F and 250R That should help with the bottoming out but, will it change the balance or will the balance still be the same and just resist bottoming out? Also I currently have...
