Took key fob apart after it stopped working thinking it was a dead battery but to my surprise the actual button has fallen off the circuit board making it useless. I'm going to try solder it tomorrow but the contacts are so small I doubt it'll work.
Need the car for work and locking it manually...
Apparently you can't anymore, he said renault won't offer any specialist tools to private customers as of a few months back. I just got a cheap sealey alternative for a tenner off the bay, if that fails then I'll crack the jubilee out!
Couldn't be doing with loose items in the dash sliding about in the corners.
I reckon that's some nice driving though, imagine what you could achieve in the clio ;)
Well the alternator is barely a thousand miles old and I'm sure the sound was there before so my bet would be on the pas pump or water pump.
Whats the average lifespan of a dephaser? I've been expecting mine to play up since 80k, perhaps it may have finally happened.
I say sound but not sure if I have more than one problem here, basically car sounds rough as fook at the moment.

That's the car fully warmed up. Don't think it's the dephaser as with the bonnet open there's no definitive noise coming from the top end...
I'm starting to think this has nothing to do with the induction kit, the engine in general sounds rough as fook. Anyone care to diagnose this noise?

Dont think its dephaser as from up top with bonnet open it doesn't sound knocky at all in idle. Noise is...
