Hi all last Saturday evening a did a 300 mile trip around and through London in the pissing rain. The next morning I started up the car and immediately noticed an unfamiliar noise from behind the bulkhead. It's a low deep hum, much like a supercharger, which picks up and down with the revs up...
Recieved my new ICV today which is OEM spec and supplied with two bolts. When I removed the unit from the manifold it appears to be riveted into the plastic casing instead. Can't work out how to get this off or reattach new ICV with supplied bolts! Anyone shed some light on this please?
The ph2 and very late ph1 models have two lambda sensors either side of the cat and early ph1s only have a precat lambda sensor. Apart from that they are fine.
I'm not sure if my clio will be on the road for this as its in the workshop for ring prepping next week. What's the deal with turning up in an RS megane are we allowed to park with the show or be stuck out the way? Admin please confirm :)
