Are we registered to attend yet? I want to order my tickets to take advantage of the early bird prices but can't seem to find any info on here regarding this years show.
I've just ordered some AF citrus power under recommendations of this thread and thinking of getting one of the 8ltr water sprayers suggested above. My theory is to try this:
Take it to local jetwash and apply AF citrus power all over car
Jetwash off after a few minutes to soak in
Drive back...
I've just moved to a 1st floor apartment this year from my parents so am faced with the same dilemma. My ground floor neighbours hate anything car related and probably resent my decatted 172 firing up at 5am every morning to much to allow me to steal a water supply.
Haven't had the 265 out of...
If he didn't know what he was selling why's he adjust all the brand names with ones that are actually relevant to clios? Me thinks he's put a half arsed ad up without doing any homework and trying his luck.
I mean how difficult is it to send a photo these days if they're 'right in front' of...
A thermostat is either open or closed though, an electronic valve can be partially opened or closed to keep the engine closer to its target temp for longer?
I don't really have any knowledge to back that theory up although some of the Merc Econics i have at work are equipped with two...
You'd imagine in this day and age thermostat technology would have advanced to an actual electronic valve that can be more accurately controlled by the ECU...
I agree but unfortunately the cars always kept sparkling anyway so little benefit to be had here.
Maybe I should spend some money on a set of 4 pots ;)
I want an alloy radiator for my 172 Ph1. I see on eBay there are two fitments, one for air con and one for non air con which appears simpler in design and a bit cheaper.
Obviously my car had air con from the factory but I removed everything with a delete kit including pipework and A/C rad. Does...
My good old daily 172 is 14 years old this year and a few months off 100k mileage. It's starting to feel tired a little bit in the way it drives and sounds a little rough under the bonnet too, bad times.
So to celebrate its birthday I want to give the car a little refresh on a small budget...
For some reason my lambda sensor keeps unscrewing itself? I'll properly tighten it up by literally hanging off the spanner underneath and it tightens up lovely, about two months later I hear a tapping from under the floor and surprise it's loosened right off and about to fall out again.
I've...
Cheers chaps I'm going to try it with the motor running later.
Edit: internally the socket looks clean and corrosion free and no liquid has been spilt down there.
So basically I'm stumped here, asked an auto electrician and he too hasn't a clue. Car in question is a 2000 ph1 172.
Regarding the 12v socket, there's power to it and the fuse is not blown. Phone chargers and sat navs etc. all work perfectly fine. The problems begin when I plug a tyre pump...
