lol at this.
Soo many valid points, 'all the gear, no idea' being one ;) How many track cars actually make it onto track regularly after all? Most people dont even realise that a standard car driven well will be far quicker than a 'track car' driven by a numpty anyway ...
Some people get...
You need to talk direct to the Joint Administrators - Andrew Stephen McGill and Mark Jeremy Orton.
They are the organ grinders, not the monkeys & will be able to advise you of the correct steps to get your car back. If you can.
You mean seat ;) Hopefully going to fit it in the next couple of weeks, need to strip out the rest of the interior 1st & fit the cage though. Oh and in case anybodies wondering, an OMP half cage does fit in a 3 series coupe. Just lol.
Project cars are the way forwards guys, the whole lots cost...
Well, i've pulled just under 50Kg out so far - I've weighed everything on my highly accurate bathroom scales ;) They are 935kg as standard, so im aiming to get down to about 825kg if i can.
Budgie, they are ace!! Buy one. Parts are soo cheap lol!!
Ha ha, just sold it as it happens ... dished steering wheel arrived today, so will be fitting that later on!! Grille will be done in black at some point, or modified somehow for better cooling :race:
Fitted into the standard airbox location. That & a ktec stealth gave me 177bhp at Surrey Rolling Road on a 172 cup.
Great mod imho. In fact, im going to fit one to my vts ...
Been playing with the car a little more this week, now stripped the rear out completely, revealed a little rust & fitted the new wheels - although why do people do the nuts up so tightly? Had to literally jump up & down on my wheel brace after soaking them all in WD40 for 3 days :S
Its getting...
Bargain of the century tbh. I would have given them that all day long for it lol. 170k in 4 years, thats just over 40k a year, not that bad tbh, i did 19k in 4 months in my 182 ....
Motorway mileage is stupidly easy on a car too. Its probably perfectly fine. Great buy :D
Just to wind Nick...
If people need different springs for their coilovers speak to 'Faulkner', just be mindful that if you do not have adjustable dampers and/or the ability to have them revalved they probably wont work particularly well.
Of course, althought tbf i think that they take power away from the hamster engine, so i tend to drive around in the dark at night instead lol ...
Im loving it at the moment, also works well as a car parts collection vehicle, managed to cram 4 wheels, 3 tyres, 2 bumpers & a seat in it last...
lol, you'll have to bring it over one evening, can put my vts wheels on it ;)
In a roundabout sort of way, i used to have a car allowance, but i gave it up as doing 40k a year in a fully maintained car sounded like a better idea tbh ...
The sl4g commeth :race:
I have now officially spent 2 x the cost of the car on cr4p lol
Also has a new friend
