Bugger!! Most unreliable Cliosport ever?
I do hope you hadnt taken the TB socks off again Kev, probably sucked in a Frenchman ;) Thats the car, not you lol
The cup eventually managed 145mph (GPS) on the way back from the ring. But that was down a very long hill, slipstreaming my mates Evo lol.
F*ck going faster than that in a french tin can :S
Herts & Flux are the same broker, i've been underwritten with Highway and Sarah is with NIG
Confused.com is owned by Admiral Group (who are also Elephant & Bell) so they arent exactly independent ...
Direct Line Group is Tesco, Churchill, etc
As an old fart, i find Flux to be very good :D
Right ok, i think i get this 'stance' thing now.
1. Buy one of the best handling hot hatches money can buy
2. Buy coilovers or chop your springz
3. Dump it as low as it will go, remove bump stopz
4. Make it drive like an understeering Audi/VW/Skoda/other VAG heap
5. Make it scrape on...
Lovely, love the red  makes my 137k look low though lol.
Try BJV Engineering for the wheels, they will split them for you, then refurb, put back together, THEN lacquer. So they last longer (apparently). Did a lovely job with my RC042 ...
This is because the marketing guys at peugeot won over the technical chaps - ie looks over handling. 206's on 17s are dire, trust me, i went back to 16s on mine & if was like driving a different car!!
Derv, but great fun!!
Here's my reviews from when i back to back tested a 182 & gti 180 in Sept '05.
206 was very nice, but whilst the Aegean blue colour is gorgeous, I just couldn’t get on with the external looks or the hideous ‘leather’ parts of the interior - seats were excellent though! It pulled well with a...
1. Thats not stripped. You have removed the rear seats. IIRC folding them down makes you faster as well tbh.
2. 7 seconds. GTFO.
3. Your bonnet appears to be broken.
;)
You need better tyres, waste of time at the mo tbh.
Id like to think that you should get into the 14s then, my 106gti used to run 14.8's with just breathing mods ;)
Brings up the question of what is a modification tbh, if you were just taking your seats out to put more stuff in the boot - would you inform the ins company?
Do they need to know if you put an air freshener on the dash/put seats covers on or change your floor mats - they are all modifications...
What are you all actually looking for in the coilovers?
If its speed, i can guarantee that a good driver in a standard 182, would be faster round a track than a poor driver on AST's... instruction would be far more sensible.
If its feel, how can you consider the options, without trying out a...
