I had the privilege of driving one of these fully speced with carbon brakes, sport seats leather etc. they just look fantastic. You can spend hours looking at the detail. After giving it a blast on the twisties in anger it's hard to just get out and not start looking at it all over again...
Looks nice but the badge on the front and the bullets look a little ott. I would do the badge black along with the bullets. Paint the 2.0 16v part orange.
Mabye the new ones are 5* but check this out. Smart car at 40 into the rear. The two guys in the back were being stretchered out.
Smart car in comparison
I would Stick the baby in the front and the missus in the back.
Comfort easily sorted buy getting some proper non runflat tyres and long travel coilovers such as AP's or KW's
Don't get springs it will make the ride worse. Awesome colour btw!
Moral of the story, buy house first When young and then When your still pretty young but used to mortgage choose a nice car. You will be more financially frugal and won't lose s**t loads of cash with marketing hype. Remember you can never win when you buy a car unless you buy classics /...

The wheels only saved around 2kg per corner over the JCW GP set up (mine had JCW wheels from new), but this was noticeable in itself. However the heavy...
^^ worth every penny to be fair. Just tried to keep it useable for the roads so you can have fun, enjoy some comfort, tunes have the roof open and cruise etc. Cant be dealing with losing door cars etc as I don't really do track... although I may have a blast once the chassis has been fully set...
Fairplay mate, to be honest its just a bit of fun, I think cars on the road nowadays need it. Too many boring barges floating about and I think the mini just about gets away with it :-P
Also with the addition of key parts and the removal of others, there is approx 50kg weight saving.
