Never bothered me mate, just less hassle with passengers more than anything, swapping and changing sizes all the time, I still feel a hell of a lot more planted as they are I don't go the opposite way in the seat round bends no more lol

Main reason is I hate the look of harnesses bolted to the floor and I'm always unsure about the safety aspect so I'm just going to get a cage with harness mounts so it will be bang on [emoji106]

Using seat belts for now bud, hence the hold up with passenger side. For now it will be fine just belts, been out for a spirited drive and feels so much better already can't wait for harnesses but want a cage first

Finally progress, well lack of it, fitted the drivers seat but forgot the seatbelt buckles have pretensioners but luckily had an old mk4 golf one lying around so managed to get drivers in today, more progress tomorrow when hopefully coilovers get fit.
But wow what an improvement, feel one...

Pretty sure the majority of team dynamics nowadays come with a massive centre bore and then when ordering new you just specify which spigot rings you require, that's what mine are like anyhow and mine were new last year [emoji106]

Hi all
Got my new coilovers just looking at fitting them and the book mentions lowering with the top spacers that come fitted? I thought it would just be a straight forward install lowering with the springs like normal? Anyone any ideas ?
Also what's the best stuff to spray them with to...
Lovely motor epic bit of kit and love em in blue.
Hope you've hidden your obd port behind the dash or had it locked though, 2 of my mates have had theirs stolen in past 6 months

Front end doesn't look too bad at all, was expecting it to have bodged chassis legs or something to be bent structurally, progress look good, I ended up grinding out my rear seat bolt it was seized solid and was annoying me haha, isofix ones were easy but I used a bigger ratchet, they're the...

All I did was print out the spreadsheet from the dvla and showed the tester, he just said oh ok and it passed lol, but mine would've failed for that reason.

Brakes are the same throughout the 172/182 to range so could buy them.
Suspension is the same as long as you buy a non cup packed 182 otherwise you'd need 60mm hole gap struts
Obv you could buy stuff like bucket seats, subframes, rarb, engine mounts, polybushes etc etc, you'd just have to...
Cup Racer style URL decals fitted ... (slightly pissed but still think they look decent)

Mines a bit grouchy in mornings when it's cold it's spluttery and idles a bit iffy but when warm it's perfect, got a feeling mine is one or more injectors.
