Sorry that probably wasn't clear enough, umm I mean just the red lines, I've taken the plastic surround off for spraying and obviously knocked the dials about while doing it, just wondering where they go, position wise
Yeah they are okay, depends if you really can tell what 'good', wouldn't say that they are good, I'd say they do the Job!
Yeah done all that mate cheers
Yeah I understand all that, not bothering with an amp though. Was just focusing on getting the best out of the setup that's there already, which is what it's doing now I believe
Cheers
All 4 were not working. Connectors in the headunit is fine, the new speakers are a lot better than stock ones! Massive improvement!
I think the stocks were blown to be honest mate. I have my music loud
Update:
A few things arrived in the post this week! I order too many things
Teams Hekos from @NinjaGutz on here! Not fitted yet as I'm waiting for some clips to come in the post. But been looking for some of these for a while now, good seller!
I stripped the rear seats out and took out the...
Yeah often see a lot of Clio's around. Saw one in the town today, a 5 door billabong in blue which had the cliosport.net sticker under the side bumper strip, the driver didn't look the type to be on here though
Just a black 1.2 mate, nothing fancy! Take a look at my project thread if you like...
Update:
Well at the weekend Inbetween the stupid British weather I decided to try out my new cleaning things, I clayed my whole car! Bloody hell, what a difference this makes! Also it's very easy to do! If you haven't yet do it, makes such a difference, paintwork is lovely and smooth now!
My...
Today I did another headlight restoration on my mates car, his were shockingly bad! I thought I should post on here the results, as I'm sure there's a few people interested.
Thanks for looking!
Yeah I think that's the guy I see in the sports! Symtechsales on eBay or something like that isn't it? I've never really looked out for sports before now, after being on here I look around all the time haha!
Haven't seen you yet, but will look out for you! Should be easy to sport with the LY...
Blue 182, black wheels on the Bungay bypass this afternoon heading towards Harleston.
Silver 182 and white 197 I believe spotted in Mendham, anyone on here?
Don't know anyone local around the harleston area but I often see sport around! There's a specific guy that's got 2 or more, silver and...
Hello, I'm planning on wiring in LED strips into my footwells, door open light on, I'm a bit thick with things like this, a lot of people say you can hack into the wiring down the left pillar trim, or would it be simpler to go straight to the reading light thing.
I'd also like a switch so I can...
Don't worry mate, I think we should just agree to disagree on this one, or this could go on for quite a while. You both have valid points! But spraying in a oven is totally different to spraying outside diy style. I have taken both your comments on board, both opinions played a factor in the...
I refurbished my alloys, I left 24 hours after primer before I sprayed the black and they came out brilliant. It's in my project thread, had a few comments saying it's the best diy job they've seen. I must say they look pretty good, I think I will go back to my old technique and see how I go on...
I've always finished in 400 grit before sanding but my brother who does a lot of painting at his work told me that was too high for primer. Only 15 minutes between primer and satin? Really?
I was tempted to go gloss because I wanted a slightly shiny finish like I thought satin had, but when it...
No problem mate was the surface smooth before you painted it?
Tbh mate, I've always thought primer was meant to be left for 24 hours to dry before doing anything but I was told before I started spraying my grill that I shouldn't leave it 24 hours because it will harden and won't have the same...
I thought this too, I'm quite confused right now
Judging by the finished product I don't think the damp air helped but there's definitely some kind of reaction. Both right
Firstly I cleaned it, then wet sand 240 grit everywhere, then plastic primed about 3 coats as the plastic was sucking some of the paint up, I found 3 coats found good even coverage. Left 2 hours. Rubbed down 1200 grit, dryed, then sprayed 4 coats of satin black. The paint seemed to sink into the...
Oh I do apologise! I've always said in the past it can be moisture as it doesn't clear up when you hair dryer it start after it turns white! But so many people have told me that it's moisture or something else, just don't know what to believe haha, get so many different opinions! Leaving the...
I think that's only the 2k in a can lacquer that has the hardener that needs releasing. Again, I did a very very light dust coat for the first coat for adhesion, then did no more because it went white. The button that I sprayed was warmed slightly by a hairdryer! And the can had been warmed up...
