Was the R32 not always pretty good on throttle response. So that initial snap as you put your foot down. Obviously not that sustained shove that these big torque cars.

There is no perfect car. V8's lack in torque for what is a chunky car and are getting old. S55 sound poor but have the torque with a little less weight to haul.

If you are going 340i route. Need to go touring. Then you have a reason for why you did not buy an M. I still want to scratch B58 itch. But probably go M140i for smaller lighter package ( & manual availability)

Fair enough. I have always liked the idea and a few blokes at work use them as there only vehicle. I guess they are small enough to be a daily or ok on tight roads. However the trade off I guess is less space. But great for 1-2 people.
