That could be where your problem is, you're unbalanced.
I had some awful rears and decent fronts on a wet day at Goodwood, back was all over the place so I swapped front to rear thinking I'd get a horrible understeery mess, but it was much better.
Needed to be smooth with the steering to get...
Could be that the sensor in the throttle body has failed.
Whoever said they need resetting/recoding is 100% wrong.
If you can get a replacement (there's one or two for sale on here for £35 ish), you can swap it in 10 minutes flat (4x 10mm bolts and one electrical plug), and if that's where...
Use washing up liquid and water and properly clean it off...that's what I did to what was left after my track outing...the only safe way to get it all off IMO.
As Mike said, no coding needed.
Just 4x 10mm bolts, and an electrical connection...took less than 10 mins to swap over.
There's someone on here selling one for £35 I think...which is less than I paid for mine.
It wont, trust me.
Unless you drive on the road like you do on track it'll be on the edges of the tread and you'll only discover it when you first lean on the tyres on track.
I lent my wheels and track tyres to someone on here while they were getting their standard alloys refurbed...and they...
Lots of miles, lots of track use.
Never noticed a real degradation in performance, but with the pounding the standard springs and dampers take, I always thought it best to give it a fresh set every now and then.
The writing looks good, but to put tyre shine on track tyres is a f***ing stupid thing to do.
Either get it cleaned off, or stay away from everyone else for your first few sessions on track.
I completely fail to see the link between speed and fun.
I have more fun on my daily commute in my 85 bhp/ton Focus than I do in my Cup.
Why?
Because I can drive it pretty much flat out everywhere, and you have to think about your driving, make sure you are smooth, keep the momentum up...
Here's a short clip of mine, Yozzasport decat and MkII Stealth...sounds noisy as car's a bit bare.

I love it.
Mine's been MOT tested a couple of times with the decat on, both times it was almost a pass, 2 of the levels were ok, the 3rd was only just slightly over.
Why is that if everyone else's fails badly?
I agree totally with the OP.
I've long said ABS and traction control breed poorer drivers.
Stick a 9 inch spike out from the centre of everyone's steering wheel. The illusion of safety would be gone, and everyone would drive like saints.
People I know who have such aids tend to lean on...
I know they're light, and masses of fun...but for me the tales of owenership woe and expense, compared to the (almost) bulletproof reliability of the S2000 let's them down.
240bhp in just over a ton would be hard to resist though!
According to you...
According to me, and many others who own and watch a Sky HD box...the HD channels are massively superior compared to the SD ones.
So what if it's not 'true HD', that's not what I paid for.
I wanted a superior picture quality for £10 and that's what I got, so I and many...
