I think the current owner has had the Superleggeras refurbed in anthracite.

    GreenStuff Pads now crap?

I had the Greenstuffs with Brembo HC discs and managed a couple of trackdays without any dramas - better then OEM IMHO. I'm running same discs (although they've been replaced) and Redstuff pads now. I'd say these are much better then the greenstuffs - far lest dust and no brake fade, although...

The owner of that V6 has been at a few Pistonheads meets - I have to say it's one of the nicest V6s I've seen.

    Mars Red V6, B3006 Selbourne

This afternoon driving through Selbourne from Alton. I was in the Ford Focus with "Police" on it ;) I must say it looked like a very nice example.

    M111 MSA, Basingstoke

Yeah the car has finally gone in for repairs! I have to say that Corsa is NOT something I either like or would normally be seen dead in - it's a truly hateful car!

    Xenon's for france

When I drove to the 'Ring, we just stuck bits of electrical tape on strategic points on our headlights to stop them blinding "Ze Germans" and those cheese eating surrender monkeys. I wouldn't go to Renault - they'll only charge you a fortune to do the work, then charge you again when you come home.

Spotted you this afternoon! I was following you up the ring road and on to the A33 towards Chineham. I was in the Corsa behind you. :D

    help!!!

No idea I'm afraid. As I said, I had it done under warranty so I never found out how much they cost.

    Electric Fault.....

A bit of a thread hijack, but it's on the LHS of the dashboard, accessed by opening the passenger side door.

    Electric Fault.....

Is it still under warranty? If so, throw it back at the dealers.

    help!!!

It's a sensor under the brake pedal. I had mine replaced twice under warranty.

    Disk Grooving Service

I used to have discs like that on my old 306 XSi - they were called ATE Power Discs, from Euro Car Parts. Good effort though :)

Attention MKIII Clio owners, Fitted Roof Bars

It would be interesting to see if, when you have a bike carrier on, if you can still open the tailgate fully without it hitting the bike carrier. On my 182, I have the Renault bars with a Thule Velovise carrier. If I don't move the front bar as far forward as possible, the tailgate won't open...

    Melting Steering Wheel: Renault Reply

Ultimately, I can't see Renault helping out anyone outside their warranty period. So that leaves us with three options: 1) New aftermarket steering wheel, whereby you would lose your airbag and cruise control buttons. 2) New Reanult steering wheel (sounds expensive). 3) Current wheel...

    Stripes on or off???

As a RB owner with stripes, I say they've got to go. They don't belong, or look right, on an Arctic Blue.

    Melting Steering Wheel: Renault Reply

A couple of months ago I noticed that mine has also started this bubbling/melting nonsense. Mines an 04 plate with 64000. I must say Mark's is the worst I think I've ever seen!

So true - typical of the big lazy turbo hot hatches that are fast becoming the norm (such as the Focus ST also).

    Parts Prices?

Anybody know how much a new 182 front bumper and a new nearside xenon headlamp unit would set me back? I can't seem to find the parts and their relevant prices on the tinterweb anywhere.
  23. Karlos182

    Thanks Cliosport

I should image the insurance companies would like to know about a mod like this, especially where it involves the removal of the airbag. I'm sure I've seen aftermarket wheels with airbags in, but they were hideously expensive. Shame about the cruise control though. Whilst some obviously...

Yesterday afternoon. You waved at me. I was in the RB 182 with stripes! :)

    Thanks Cliosport

Sounds like you've got your moneys worth from the forum then! :) Just out of interest, what have you done with your cruise control switches? Did you ditch them or manage to fit them to the new wheel?

    Aero Blades...

I think so. I had some cheaper ones and they were rubbish in comparison to the Bosch ones.

    182 exhaust help needed asap

IIRC Renault have changed the clamp they used for the mid-section to cat join. It used to be a circular one with one bolt. It's now in 2 halves with two bolts, which is a better, more secure design.
