Fitted a Whiteline antiroll bar this morning. More fiddly than I expected. Not been out in it though so no idea what difference it’ll make.

Here’s the red one installed. The brightness is hard to gauge during the daytime, but it looks like it won’t be super bright at night, which is ideal really.
I think it’s worth saying that they supply a screw-on collar to affix the whole unit, but the underside of the cup holder tray doesn’t...
I’m on my second one of these now, and this one is failing in the same way the first one did. Has anyone else had the same issues with these and are there any better ones out there?
Finally took the 182 to Rentech yesterday after weeks of putting up with a grinding, squealing wheel bearing and ABS rings that were making the ABS cut in every time I stopped. Ended up as a pricey day out though; two ABS rings, two front wheel bearings and a near side front spring as my old one...
+1 for a wheel bearing. Mine is making a horrid squeaky metal-on-metal grinding sound. I only worked out it was the bearing when I took the front wheel off and could see the ball bearings behind the ABS ring!
I’ve had the Clio making an awful squealing noise from the front for the last few weeks. Traced it to the front driver’s wheel area. Took the wheel off and found this:
Pretty sure you’re not supposed to be able to see the actual ball bearings in the wheel bearing!
Replaced my led sidelight bulbs as one was flickering on and off, with regular bulbs. Found out, whilst I was down there, that my headlight motor had become disconnected in the passenger side headlight. That would explain why for months I’d thought that the headlights were crap!

Changed the antiroll bar drop link on the wife's Mondeo after I heard it snap driving down the pavement off a driveway. Cost less than a tenner and took less than an hour to fit so not the end of the world.

I had this problem a little while ago. I asked on here but nobody had any ideas. Some days it worked fine, others it was as you described. Strangely, I changed my head unit and the problem went away! I can only suggest changing the cruise control switch by your right knee as they can be problematic.
Changed the oil and filter on the 182 today. Five litres of Shell Helix Ultra 5w40 and a Bosch filter. Should last all of 1200 miles before it needs yet another litre. 😧
Also tightened up the 19mm bolt on the dog bone mount. It was poking out about an inch. No matter how much I tighten...
Replaced my "Update List" head unit with a Pioneer DEH-X8700BT one. Sounds infinitely better than the factory rubbish, but with the adapter to allow use of the steering wheel remote, the room behind the head unit is tighter than a Nun's chuff!
Finally received my air conditioning condenser and receiver/dryer, ready to be fitted next week. Of course the condenser did fail on the hottest week of the year.
Strangely, the receiver/dryer doesn't come with the bracket that bolts it to the condenser. I just hope I can re-use the old bracket.
Ah yes there was a chap on here that built his own cruise control wiring for an aftermarket steering wheel and did a thread on it. I'll have a search for that in the meantime.
My cruise control in the 182 has developed a strange fault over the last few days.
I hit the switch and the green light comes on and the dash LCD display switches to the dashes for no memorised speed. I get to a speed I want to stay at and hit the plus or minus button. All good so far. I hit...
Washed the Clio today and tried out CarPro Hydro2 Lite for the first time afterwards. Impressed by the initial beadage. Just have to wait for some rain to see how it holds up.
"Loud" is a setting that increases bass settings at low levels. I can't remember the speed related setting but you can turn it from zero to five from my memory.
I had a quick google for these MRF tyres. They appear to be an Indian made tyre, so unsure of quality. Seems to be hard to find much more info or more importantly the sizes for each type of tyre they make. I couldn't find anything in the key 205/45/16 size.
Anybody used the Hydro2 Lite? Is it any good? Just trying to decide between this and the usual Hydro2 but like this as it's already diluted and I'm lazy.
