Afternoon guys,
Mrs was driving the 182 and basically it started smoking! she rang me fearing for her life!!
Car is parked up and this is the problem.
Supposed to be going away on Wed, easy fix or not??
Cheers.
Yeah, he just said I'll tuck the wire in and no one will ever know?
I'll take a look when I get time but I doubt I'll be able to get to the connector from where the unit was unless maybe I butchered the headlining near the rear mirror but I even doubt I'll get access to it then.
Bummer.
STEVE.M, mine was £120 and he wanted another £90 for the sensor bracket one - like I said If I knew the SERV light would stay on I'd have probably payed it bloody annoying me now ? I should have checked on here beforehand.
I can't attach the sensor now as he tucked the wire under the windscreen ?
Small update.
Car passed, changed the shocks myself for the grand sum of £63 for both!!
ATS it was bloke!! robbing bar stewards!
Serv light is still on and half regretting getting the cheapo screen fitted now as the serv light is annoying me already :( is the only way to get rid of it to...
Cheers lads, it failed:cry:... however you were correct it didnt fail on the serv - not even an advisory.
It has failed on a rear nearside serious shock leak, quoted £145 to fix.
Hi lads,
My serv light is on - no other lights just that and my car is currently getting MOT'ed at the moment, now I reading this threadhttps://www.cliosport.net/threads/service-light.815494/#post-11554157
and I have had a new windscreen fitted however I didnt get one with the autowiper bracket...
Any ideas?
I was coming back from Wales and 40mins or so in on the motorway the needle on the temp gauge decided to dance about  thing bounced about, never done that before.
I tested it again today for about 10mins and the needle climbed to the middle and stayed there and didn't...
Anyone tell us how you fit one
Took my old one out ok but I can't seem to remove the white connector that the old one has left behind.
.
I looked at this threadhttp://www.cliosport.net/threads/upper-third-brake-light-removal.805440/ but it doesnt really mention fitment just removel...
Brilliant lads cheers.
Brake fluid is like full to the brim still only a few blobs came out the bleed valve.
What a stupid place to put the handbrake adjuster and as for the brake fluid location deary me!
I was happy until you posted this! Please tell me I don't have to bleed the whole system, brakes feel fine.
Handbrake needs adjusting though, getting 7 clicks before it holds the car so going to sort that tomorrow hopefully If I can manage to rip the heatshield off!
Update lads.
Praise the lord, sorted finally thanks to your help
Took all of 10mins once I opened the bleed valve! Why I don't know but it made it dead easy once that was opened.
Thanks chaps, much appreciated
P.s look out for, my how do I tighten my handbrake thread:smile:
Washer is on - just left behind from removing the old disc and I've pushed the Disc on as far as I can ( not tightened it up fully to 175 tho)
Guessing but there isn't a special way to put a Disc on surely!
Even though it state, Suitable for applications with Citroen, Ford and Renault vehicles.
It's a faff this, going to let a Mechanic pull my pants down next time hassle hassle hassle 😧
Jesus, don't want to spend that!
I've just realised I can't get to Eurocarparts because... 😞 luckily Machine Mart is a walk away! is that the correct one? noticed they do a left and right hand one.
