thats what i thought, however the guy i spoke to was like we should be able to rma it for you :S
i have ordered another of the same card with all seals in tact, im gonna try to move them over to the old card as well as the stock thermal paste and claim that it wasnt opened up
Yeah, I cant go back through the supplier in my case, as I got the card off eBay, luckily it was unregistered, but the card has a life time warranty
My only concern is that I've changed thermal paste on the card, therefore opened it up
Yeah xfx is in the Netherlands :/
If you RMA through your supplier you should get the free postage, however if you direct RMA, then you have to postage I believe
The guy I spoke to was like yeah I can set you up a direct RMA but you'll have to pay shipping, thought they would have a UK warehouse!
Plus, for my next set of cards I defo won't, I had an old sapphire 6950 and it was great other than the blue PCB
Unfortunately, xfx are a bunch of pricks
Anyone on here had experience with xfx RMA services? Was quoted 50euros to send my card to the Netherlands and was wondering of they would just refuse it or not
I apologise for my lack of activity, truth be told, I've been too busy to tend to the car
Had a few weeks of s**t, my graphics card packed up and ordered a few new PC parts also, inc a new AIO cooler, new graphics card, second ssd and abit more
Will be picking up my wheels Friday morning, will...
Looks much better! :) did you not use the adjusters for the rear? And what size wheels and tyres do you run? Need to find a decent height for when I get my wheels back and on the car
Abs sensor? All I had to do was remove the support holding the abs line, clean it up a little and when the coilovers were done, refit the support and pop the line back into it
not really sure what crap renault steering wheels are made of, but something like this

hmm, i had thought about that, would clog the paper like hell, but would give a smooth finish, then possibly be retreated/dyed back to a dark grey :S im not really sure
should be 58mm mate, the only difference for non sports was on the 1.2 8v, which was 52 or 54 iirc
but yeah, double check just to be safe as who knows with french engineering!
Steering wheel melt is of course a big problem with the poor choice of wheel materials
did anyone ever find a cheap fix? i saw some people scraped it all off, but it left the wheel all discoloured and nasty
ive got a load on my wheel, getting a replacement sport wheel with slight melt for...
Yerp, its a pain!
And ride quality, dunno what the difference will be
The fks will prob go abit lower and the fronts do camber, unsure about the rears
My mate had some high sports on his corsa till he rolled it, he liked them
Saw a set in the FS section at a good price
I would get a bumper done pro, finish across a large area may be abit shabby, unless you can find one in your colour then it's all good
What colour code do you have?
just found your thread mate :)
And its alright, bouncy, feels more sporty, bit crashy but feels much better in corners and stuff
And yeah Haha, took a while
Front bumper off then behind them is a scaffolding holding the shape of the bumper, need to unclip it really, I didn't so was prising the...
Heading to the machinists on Monday :)
And nice man, are the handles easy to get off? I'll prob code them a little later on. The front bumpers were my first job, getting them off was the hardest part Haha
And ta technix coils, they are the cheapest I could get!
