Well you can if you make it On-line only like MMORPG's, with the servers doing some of the work. Which is what they are looking to achieve I reckon.
It reminds me of most MMORPG releases - massive server queues and bug ridden gameplay.
No doubt a hacked/pirate version of the game will be released soon which you can play offline and thus be far superior! making a mockery of DRM system.
Just put the three applications he uses on the start menu, then all he has to do is click the big icon he wants to use. Really is not difficult to use.
Exactly the same, most used is pinned to the Taskbar, right click bottom left corner for admin/control panel etc. Right click "File Explorer" icon and pin folders here, so simple. And if I do use the start menu it's arranged so it's still only 2 clicks of a mouse.

This used to be the case - however these days the amount of legit websites that get hacked and carry payloads and flaws with Java, Flash etc that don't get fixed fast enough you do need some protection. It's also worrying how much anti-virus products do let through though.
I work with Small Businesses so like others I have to cover every aspect of IT (Servers, Networks, Comms). I do a lot of installs and server migrations on different sites and I really enjoy it. I'd love to specialise but being in Cornwall there isn't that many enterprise level businesses to do...
So don't use the store apps? Use normal Desktop applications? just because Store apps are available to you doesn't mean you have to use them at all - you can remove them completely if you like.
