If you dont mind leaving your PC on, Just stick 2 x identical HDDs in your PC and run them as RAID1 which is built into windows. No extra devices to look after and configure.
Yes this, trying to locate the ISCSI target not initiator. Dunno why it's been pulled no obvious reasons for it. Thanks for the link JimmyJ but that looks like an expensive one rather than the freebie one by Microsoft, it's only for a test lab.
Just couple of DC's/file servers and a Remote Desktop Services server typically RAID1 and RAID5 H700 SAS drives. They already got a few R610's so keeps the cab looking nice ;)
I'm looking to download Microsoft's:
iSCSI Software Target 3.3 for Windows Server 2008 R2
But the page has been removed from Microsoft from every link I've found. Has the software been pulled? or renamed? can't find any information on it.
Cheers
Ordered it - got to processing your order - then Oops error. However it's listed in "My Orders" so it went through ok just no thank you message. Do you all get a email confirmation?
They all let Malware through eventually (I have to clean a lot of PCs even if they are running Sophos/Symantec etc), MSE is free and does a decent job.
Finally got it installed on the PC, bit of a nightmare with Origin.
- Error with activation
- I want to install off the DVD but your downloading? confusing! oh you are installing off the DVD but you're just saying downloading to confuse me.
- Finally installed, but wait your downloading again...
