Yeah that is indeed what it sounds like. It was like a steam train.
Coolant was sat halfway between min and max this afternoon, as I was under the bonnet to top up the oil.
HG possibly (although uncommon), or something more sinister internally
No Idea, Belts look fine (were only changed 6 weeks ago) and the bay is dry.
It was a massive cloud of smoke. It had sowed no signs of temperature fluctuations or anything leading up to the incident.
I had only been on the phone to James earlier to discuss the oil consumption at 200miles for 1/2...
On my way in to work this evening, just come off of a roundabout when in my rear view mirror a get a massive cloud of white smoke car grinds itself to a halt pretty quickly. Pop the bonnet and the header tank is empty, look under car and I can see coolant dripping from the manifold to decat...
I've had a one x for best part of a year I think. Im pretty pleased with it, battery life isn't great but then I do normally have poor signal. I think it feels a bit plastic but seems to be pretty robust its been dropped on hard floors quite a few times with the only damage being a couple of...
Mine worked when I first bought the car, however it has now given up. I'll take it for a re-gas but it will probably piss out as quick as it goes in knowing my luck.

They are so good that they are being used in aquarium lighting for freshwater planted tanks but more impressively for marine applications for coral growth. Whereas in the past you might have had to used a 400w...
Looking good, the very first car I drove was a 1.2 8v in the same colour.
The headlight restoration has taken years off how old the car looks. I really need to get mine done.
They might well be, Peugeot did lots of SportPack extras for the 306, not many got sold as most looked terrible.
personally I just find the above pictures just look a little bit fussy, I'm not sure perhaps it might work better with a black car but the splitter and skirts just look a bit wrong...
Another vote for the RS2 manifold, Ive had mine fitted a few weeks now and it has totally transformed the way the car drives. The power is so much more usable with the lovely torque curve. Keeps all your toys such as cruise control and doesn't light your dash up like a Christmas tree.
It just...
Nothing wrong with the hankook v12 evo's either they are a decent for the money.
I've ran them for 2 and a half years, fronts last me 1 year and rears lasted nearly two years.
Cheers Chip, It will get sorted I'm already in too deep to consider selling it so I have no option but to get it running and get it mint
Looks like the suspension refresh is temporarily on hold, so the cooksports, and front and rear spacers will just have to sit in my living room a while...
Bad times, The replacement engine is burning quite a bit of oil :( I feel like I could give up, Back down to Stains to see James and Mike next week hopefully.
Easy to fit but don't expect any real gains from an induction kit apart from some added noise which is nice in a chavvy sort of way lol. I certainly wouldn't spend money on a remap for one.
