I wouldn't have a clue how much a specialist would charge, its a bit of a how long is a bit of string question as until you start you don't know what your going to find, if your getting the kind of oil consumption I was then I would be contacting a few specialists, and see what they think. It's...
There is this outside reception up against the wall, apologies for the poor picture it was raining at the time.
There is this little collection sat inside the machine shop too.
On a more serious note there aren't that many nice cars on nights, mine and another Clio 182, Mini cooper s...
Well new rear shocks should be arriving tomorrow so hopefully get them fitted asap.
As promised though photos of the damage, you can see the mess it made of the RS2 manifold so that required totally stripping down too.
I'm now off for a nice leisurely 25 mile drive to work.
They are always midweek and I work permanent nights during the weeks, organise a weekend one and I'll be there
Cheers Chip
Thanks, I've been out a couple of times in her, need to get the rear shocks changed! They were on the list to get done with suspension refresh but they are now getting...
I finally have my car back From James Stone and Mike Woodford in Staines. All running very well. :)
I don't have a dyno readout at the moment need to get a power run done but the engine seems very strong and was very clean internally. The map From my previous engine and RS2 manifiold (which...
Don't bother with them tbh, if you only have steel wheels pop off the hubcaps and just spray the steel wheels satin black to tidy it up, in the meantime save for some nice wheels :)
Fingers crossed all being well I should be collecting my car on Friday, I can't wait! :)
I haven't seen it since the 30th July :(

whare abouts are you camping? I only live about 10 min away from Silverstone
It all depends on what you use the car for, I have the uprated vibra technics mounts and powerflex dogbone mount. I really like how it stiffened everything up. They cause a bit more vibration but to be honest once they had bedded in for a week they are fine. I decided that it wasn't worth...
Exactly, all new cars are bigger than their names! All I want is a light, quick, fun car. I don't care about fake engine sounds and tv monitors.
doesn't the current Twingo share lots of parts with the 1*2's anyway?
We can only hope that Renault will see the error of their ways...
Hopefully they do something good with the next gen Twingo as the Clio has grown far too large for me personally.
Car is looking very tidy.
I cant wait to get my Cooksports fitted but getting all the bits together to do a full suspension refresh. I've got a set of 20mm front spacers sat in my pile of bits. So I'm hoping the don't rub with the cooksports.
Really like what you have done with the bullets, my...
Which ktec ones as they list two types. regular uprated and the "race" ones.
I'm running the standard uprated vibratechnics and there is a bit more vibration but not much really. Only really notice it when sat idling when the steering wheel shakes a bit more than normal.
I don't have the time, or know how unfortunately to save it, I have no idea how long it has sat stood for. There is also and old defender parked next with loads of junk piled on top of it.
Got one sat in a barn at the farm where I live not quite the same condition, nice colour though
As for the cars wiki tells me 1987 brought us,
Ford Sierra Saphire
Peugeot 405
Citroen AX
