Well new rear shocks should be arriving tomorrow so hopefully get them fitted asap. As promised though photos of the damage, you can see the mess it made of the RS2 manifold so that required totally stripping down too. I'm now off for a nice leisurely 25 mile drive to work.

Don't bother with them tbh, if you only have steel wheels pop off the hubcaps and just spray the steel wheels satin black to tidy it up, in the meantime save for some nice wheels :)

Doesn't sound like a dropped valve. When mine dropped a valve the car ground itself to a halt in a cloud of steam out of the exhaust.

you can also slacken off the bumper and adjust that.

Which ktec ones as they list two types. regular uprated and the "race" ones. I'm running the standard uprated vibratechnics and there is a bit more vibration but not much really. Only really notice it when sat idling when the steering wheel shakes a bit more than normal.
